Thank you, this kind of made it click.
so with a 3" body lift, spindles, and the lift coil, that would be a 9" lift, and around 8" of travel? maybe skipping spindles might be a good idea. struggling to picture it, but not totally against it
pardon my noobery, i spent the last decade messing with lincolns and air ride... learning curves.

You can do the spindle with everything stacked together, yeah. Wont change anything besides give u that 3 inch of lift, and will make ur front stance wider

4602190003_large.jpg is this where im going end up (height) with body/spacer/lift coil?
about how much wider are we talking? already got a pretty good amount of poke, dont wanna live life by the lugnut rule lol

If i skip the spindle, everything should still clear and travel ok yeah? I dont think i really want 9" lift on such a little truck

No lol thats a 6 lug with like a 10 inch lift. We need like 5-6 inch lift to even hit the stock 6 lug height. Spindles will make u poke like 3 inches a side i think, not too dramatic.

U can keep ur current lift and go bigger tires for more lift like 31s? What size tires do u have rn?

    Currently 31 10 50 15
This is how they poke right now stock.
I'm not opposed to more lift just deciding if I want to add the spindles when I do uca and lift coil, and wondering where I'll end up with 9" of lift. dont want it looking like a damn jack in the box

Just spoke to doetsch, apparently they dont offer the spindle anymore anyways. Probably do the uca/coil/shackle and see where I land, then leaf pack and spindle if it strikes me from there.

Do aftermarket shackles require a flip kit before you can use them? Feel like I read that somewhere just want to confirm

It is, but it's also the 3.4 so I'm sure that helps. I can definitely imagine the 4 bangers struggling a little.
I loaded it to the hilt and drove it from central cali to oregon with no problems, never felt like I was chuggin it, even over the pass

Will this require new springs? The ones I have now seem to tall for where it's at so I'm hoping this fixes that, though they are probably pretty worn from being pressed so bad..
Parts are on the way. . now we wait

I meant coils in the front but realized it was a stupid question.
Leaf springs arent dead just a bit noisy as a lot of the cushion has worn away. Leaf pack is In the cards for the future after i decide on spindles and see what I need out of it. Hopefully the new shocks will take some of the suck out of the ride for now

Oh yeah. Since u have the 6 cylinder theres no other option for coils as lift. If u had the 4 cyl u could use 6 cyl coils instead for lift.

If the shocks are clapped out it will help a lot. Just make sure u dont don stiff shocks if your fronts stiff already. Keep us updated

I recently purchased v6 coils and shocks in 1 piece and I didn't even bother to look or think if they were on a 5 lug or 6 lug...are they different?

Also, anyone have a step-by-step video or thread that shows how to do a swap ..I have a 5 lug 4cyl base model and looking for a minor lift...

I have been looking everywhere for a step-by-step video for weeks now....found a few videos but most are for 6 luggers or 2005+

I don't want to use a spring compressor cause I have heard it could be dangerous. Also. I am tight on money so I don't want to take it to a mechanic. Is it possible to take the springs and shocks out and replace with the v6 springs and shocks? or do I have to put my existing shock inside the v6 springs and then install them?
