Get rid of the straw screw dealing with chiggers!!!! Get a good hardwood mulch. If you want to be cheap call the local tree companies have them dump their chipper trucks and then use that. It's free and with all the leaves and different sized stick pieces and chunks it lasts a little longer and is better natural amendments to the soil so things grow better.
From the service meter to where the appliance line is no. I am not confident in my soldering ability. The appliance hoses just screw on it's a no biggie and easy fix with some liquid pipe dope or a little more umpf on the wrench. Just called the gas company had their guys come and run the line for his fire place and hot tub.

Not as bad. To keep it down also keep it "water logged" If it's too much of a slope no matter what you use it'll end up washed down in heavy rains. I'd plant a lot more on that hill side anyways to help with erosion and some privacy.

That's true, I couldn't tell how much it slopes in the pic. Single hammered doesn't wash away as easy.

Will have to be pretty hardy to stand up to the dogs running around out there, may some ivy or something. Not sure that would tolerate full sun though.

I was thinking shrubbery with some good hearty roots. Maybe a dwarf tree or 2. Get lots of root hold but doesn't take up a lot of space so the dogs can still run. I don't know about your dogs but mine once my garden started coming up for spring they would avoid even the smallest and most delicate plants and wouldn't trample them.

I need to do something for my driveway. It’s washing away slowly but surely.

If it's gravel road base then 57 on top border edge it with something like those paver borders, palstic edging, dug down lower than yard, stones, rail road ties, etc. I used rail road ties again I'm cheap and they were free and well never rot thank you creosote.

Doubt he'll accept. He got the parts at cost, and labor for next to nothing. Principle of selling the truck and all that jazz, and not diminish the value of his "shop"
