Hey guys, I’m new to the forum but I’ve been lurking for 3 years since I bought my first taco. So I have a 2006 4cylinder single cab base, running 30” off road tires right now. It’s stance is better, but the tires rub a tiny bit still. I was looking for a cheap and easy lift when I came across a 3rd gen take off for sale locally for $200. They’re Bilstein 4600’s with the leaf springs and upper control arms too. Would I be able to swap those onto mine for a little lift? Mine is a 5lug so I have no clue if it’ll all fit but I know that the upgraded shocks for my model are bilstein 4600’s.

I am not sure about the 5-lug part but thats what I am doing, will be done this weekend hoping to net half inch to inch in the front and quarter to half or so in the back with the leafs. (Mine are worn) But we shall see, I am not sure if its directly compatible with the 5 lug though, that is outside of my knowledge. Haha

I found out from digging that the main difference between the 5 and 6 lug is that the rear on 5 lug is spring under axle instead of over axle. Im guessing I probably can’t without a lot of work.
