As the title says, I have an A340F transmission from a 2014 4x4 2.7L Tacoma. This should fit all 2005-2015 4 cylinder automatic 4-wheel drive Tacomas. It could fit some V6 1st gen Tacos too, but I’m not 100% sure.

Item: A340F transmission, torque converter, and flex plate (with mounting bolts and spacers)

Location: Elkridge, MD - willing to figure out TW express and maybe shipping depending on the details.

    Mileage: 125k - I haven’t towed anything, it’s a 4 cylinder. I drive like a grandpa.

Condition: Great - Some offroading but never abused. I try to take care of my stuff.

Reason for selling: Just completed a 5-speed manual swap. So this transmission no longer has a home.

Reason to buy: You are actively planning to do a 4wd conversion. You broke your transmission and need a replacement that doesn’t cost a small fortune.

Only thing different is the oil pan from what i can see from 1st gen trucks. Dipstick is on other side but you could just swap oil pans with 1st gen truck since its same trans basically. I got a guy gonna buy mine most likely that has 1st gen.

Sweet. Good info to know. Are there particular 1st gen years that are compatible. I heard that '96-'02 transmission are slightly difference than '03-'04.

not sure about early model trucks. But from what i could tell connectors seem all the same. Not sure if VVTI has any differences with the trans since the 1st gen trucks didn't have that.
