Care to elaborate? I only have experience with RideWrap, and only went with them as they're BC based vs UK.

I got mildly burned my first day riding without it! Was on vacation but on a trail system I had ridden before (but new trails). Everything I had ridden there was mostly well marked and straight forward. Was leading a group with limited leg/lung capacity and we made a wrong turn. I started getting the feeling we were off track and was unsure of the best recovery route. Paid the (now higher) price to get the full version on the trail so I could plan our way out. Shit. I'm on the 7 day trial and will likely cancel for now. I got the impression it's all year or nothing and no month to month option? I do see that I can still switch to early adopter pricing even though I started it after 10/1. Maybe it is worth the $18/year.

I have a home brew sealant and certain tires seep for me too. It's often a thinner sidewall thing and not just the sealant. Nothing to really worry about.

A few of the bikes I have on my list (including your TB). Plus Rascal/Ranger, Spur, etc, etc. I'm on a one bike quiver and really undecided on what travel range to go with. Most of my daily riding is best suited to the lower travel trail class where a Spur would rip. Something like an SB130 or Rascal kind of splits the difference and covers everything I'd need. An efficient peddling bigger bike like a Ripmo is also tempting though. I do wonder how much difference there is on the trail between some of the heavier short travel bikes (ie Following) and their mid travel counterparts (ie Offering).

Just got rid of my Marlin 7 that got me started in the hobbie a littler over a year ago. I wish I went the Roscoe route so I could keep it as a fun second bike but the Marlin 7 was a fantastic starter!

I’d say marlin and pitch or rockhopper are bout the same. Roscoe more in line with the Fuse.

Trek Roscoe is the workin man's Trek Stache, but the Fuse 6Fattie comparison is a good one as well.

Haha I was a bit reserved on listing all the bikes I'd like to try (its a rather extensive list). To quote mtbYumYum, "Its a great time to be a mountain biker!" So many good options in all categories bike.

I'm similar to you in that my daily riding is more in line with the lower travel trail bikes. A Spur or Ranger (dare say SB115) would be ideal the majority of the time. Short travel bikes in general really fit that do everything role for me. Putting a 140 coil fork, coil shock, and meaty tires on my Tallboy definitely porked it up so she isn't as spritely as she could be, but it only feels heavy-ish in slower speed situations. I haven't gotten any time on any mid-travel bikes but I too would be curious to how their on-trail feel compares.

I ride a 2018 Transition Scout now so it's not like I'm on a light bike by any means. Somewhere around 32 lbs and not exactly snappy on more mellow pedally stuff, and I can't say I have many real complaints. I do wonder how a lighter more efficient bike like the Spur or Ripley would feel though.

Invisiframe is just a little easier to work with, and seemed to have held up better. Granted, I only used the gloss from RideWrap, and Matte from invisiframe.

I can’t speak for Ridewrap. I actually gave them the first chance but they weren’t up to speed on my 2020 model frame yet. Next I went to Invisaframe. They did have the 2020 version of my frame model ready to. I was quite impressed with the detail that went into the cut and fit of each piece. It is a tedious process so take your time. Some good how to vids out there, I watched a couple before doing it. After the first piece was placed the rest came fairly easy. I noticed there’s a fine line between using too much soapy water and not enough. It’s realized pretty quick and things get easier as you go. Took me four hours to do my frame. Pretty much dead on to what they said in the videos. If I remember right, my frame had 22 pieced to install.

Go get a scrap from the local clearbra shape and do it yourself. Cheap, but bring your patience.

I might have to do that. My only concern would be getting clean cuts. Need some sharp scissors! Haha

I did ride wraps on my gravel bike and it’s held up pretty well. The chain and seat stays are showing some peeling but those were also the hardest pieces to put on. The main triangle is still good to go

I have a Trek HiFi Plus with 29" wheels. Just got the taco so I've been looking at how to transport my bike. A friend had a fox tailgate pad on his F150 and it was great. Though I am worried about the lack of...security to keep the pad from walking off.

I will mostly transport 1 bike but occasionally 2. I've done nothing to the bed besides ordering the bed mat, still unsure of the cover I want.

Any inputs? Willing to spend up to $300

You can always ask them to send you just the pieces you need to replace.

It really annoys me that they stopped making the Stache.

They do have 2021 framesets for sale on their site so not sure whats up. I could see them maybe having a supply issue with forks or tires.

I can't find any press on a discontinuation though.
