    you see the dog paw on your foot? that's a sign that dog is obsessed with protecting and monitoring you. i think they do it so they can fall asleep without worrying you'll walk away. mine does it all the time. looks like an AWESOME dog.20201005_184337.jpg

    Agreed...it probably flows from that intense separation anxiety. Like you it happens all the time. In fact we would take care of Bear while my son was at work and the panic that ensued was heart breaking. I’m happy to say that it is less now that he (Bear) is on antidepressants. He now is able to be without my son for a good portion of the day.
