Their options had been dwindling over the last couple model years. The color of the frame is even the same which is untrekly. Something is definitely weird with it

Seems word on the street is frame only for 21 because of warranty stock reasons; Likely deceased after that.

But this comment made the search worth it

Yeah especially northern Virginia. Even if I went to the mountains I could do it fine haha. My remedy is just taking up space at this point since I haven’t even touched it since I got the stache. We will see

I've been told that they're simply ditching 29+ altogether, which is why they're clearing out the stock this year. Kinda sad IMO, as I love me some 29+.

The Stache helped drive the demand for 29+ tires, so I hope this doesn't lead to total abandonment by the industry.

    That’s what I’m thinking
That would be unfortunate. I feel like it’s already hard enough to find tires. I feel like surly will keep making theirs though since it seems to fit them pretty well

I've been called that a lot lately too. Sorry that I refuse to drink bad coffee and beer, and cartridge razors give me wicked razor burn so I use a 50s style safety razor when I'm not growing my beard out.

nothing wrong with preferring good coffee/beer/food/etc, I for sure do. its the people who think they're "above" the "normal" stuff that bother me. That's when I call you a snob.

Fair point. I've also been known to have a pile of crushed coors light cans at my feet during post ride campfires

Is everything you do "sick," "wicked," or "shredding gnar."

If so you may be a hipster.

Klondike is a good quick hit area if you need a sub 2 hour ride, but could totally be an all afternoon deal

The half enchilada starting at Jimmy Keen is about a 3 hour ride plus about an hour shuttle from town to the top.

My wife doesn’t mind dropping off me off so the half enchilada might be the best option
