Yeah, unless a screaming deal comes along between now and the time I start working on it to get it back on the road, I’ll be keeping it.

I feel like its how you open it, my tacoma had the original already cracked handle the entire time i owned it and never broke

Same with my camry, except it broke the first time my buddy opened it

Thanks! Its been great practice and a good distraction from...well, everything.

I'm going to replace the leaf springs because they're all out of spring. The intent is to keep the bed roughly the same weight as the oem bed, so I don't really plan on going heavier. I could go to an HD leaf though if I have to. The factory capacity of a 1st gen reg cab is plenty for me though, and I don't want it to ride worse.

Added a new digital Innovative Motorsports oil pressure/temperature gauge to the MadTaco.
I never liked the idea of a oil line running from the sending unit to the gauge in the cab. Years ago I had a line leak on me.
The new gauge kit is electrical.

Does anyone know if the seatbelts in a 2004 are interchangeable from driver to passenger side? I notice that the adjustable buckle on the pillar post is reversed from side to side, which got me to thinking. TIA

My back definitely hated doing carpet. Love the results though.

Is there a name for that particular carpet? It looks really nice.

Swapped my bench seat for these sweet buckets out of a Mazda 3. Picked em up for $100 a piece from an auto wrecker.
Does anyone know a good method for adding patches to cloth seats? I would love to cover up those Mazda emblems.

I might be interested in that bed when you decide to get rid of it. Still up in the air if I want to flatbed or just through another bed on mine.
