I would break out a needle and thread. Easier to remove or change down the road. Use a small curved needle and good nylon thread.

I've done a mod or two
It's embroidery right? Any reason you can't rip the embroidery thread down the center and pull it all out?

Was there much work you had to do to get them to fit? That looks comfy. Mine doesn’t have a bench seat, it’s already bucket seats but they’re so uncomfortable

Likely, you will see a pattern of the needle holes through the material, even after you remove the thread. Not likely that they would close up and even out.

The passengers always get more wear because the driver thinks less of bumps on the driver (my theory anyway)

On the past 3 trucks with lbjs that are gone the passenger was far worse than the driver (my 98 and 01 4 runners, and an 02 tacoma I worked on)

I looked at those yesterday. Looks like that they’ve been discontinued. The company website is a dead link.

Does anyone make high-quality replacements for the side marker lights or am I stuck with the eBay special? The Toyota part is discontinued

I'll definitely take that into consideration. I'm sure it would be much cleaner.

You're probably right. I've never really dealt with embroidery so Idk. I like the patch idea though. Plus I've already located some nice ones on etsy.

The drivers side was a bitch. I had to cut off all the brackets including the ones off the original bench and weld them back on. There was a lot of back and forth of test fitting and grinding/ rewelding (I'm not the best welder). The passenger side brackets were all bolt on. So all I had to do was cut a couple bracket studs so I could place the bench brackets where they needed to go. If you can find some seats with bolt on brackets, it should be a fairly easy job. And yes they're super comfy! The lumbar adjustment is a godsend!
