What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Installed new winter wiper blades.

 

Stage one 6" procomp lift, 20" fuel off rd wheels, with 35" nitto trail/mud grapplers, bull bar, procomp skid plate, and debadged! Installed about a week ago!

 

Got myself a Kobalt Slim Line toolbox.. now I just need to install it. And did the Christmas shipping mod...

 

I installed 3M stoneguard on the hood, fenders , flares, and front bumper.

 

Fresh fill of Royal Purple. I <3 my truck.

Also did a little more trimming on the fender wells. Need to hurry up and finish that shit this week in prep for URE this weekend.

 

Are you anywhere close to the mounts? You'll probably want to beat the pinch weld to.

 

Not really. I don't rub any during normal driving. With flex I'm sure I'll rub the mounts. I'm not sure how in the hell I'll get the tire back to the pinch weld...if I can contact that, I'm fucked. it's nowhere near the wheel well.

Uwharrie will finalize what I need to chop.

 

It's when it's compressed and you turn that it becomes a problem. You probably know this but just to make sure when it compresses the tire moves back not just up. During everyday driving you can't tell though. Also it probably won't be much for you because your wheels aren't pushed far out.

 

Yeah but from eyeballing I'd say the pinch weld starts a good inch or more behind the cab mount...most of the mount chops I've seen haven't been that big.

Meh, I'm gonna bring some tools with me to Uwharrie, and there may well be some "trail trimming" while we wait for the PreRunners to get strapped through the obstacles

 

Went and got the truck muddy a little doing donuts in the mud at this place at the top of the hill near my crib. We just had rain a couple days ago and it was nice and muddy. So, I thought I'd run it through there and have a little fun. My son got mad when he seen the truck. He wanted to go.

 

Changed the plugs! Only about 30,000 miles late!

 

sandblasted my skidplates then repainted them with rockerguard

need to stop being lazy and wax it, install window visors, and shorty antenna

 

Finished trimming, greased UCAs.

 

washed it and blew out the inside, touched up sliders, and lubed the suspension.

 

Undercoating and rustproofing. Put in a DTR off switch yesterday.

 

installed the weathertechs (yesterday)

 

Repaired 3rd brake light in the Leer cap. New wiring off the Toy harness to the cap. DONE

 

pulled the front bumper off, then got mad because i hate my front end.
