Starbucks + Wife= Help Needed

Ok so my wife had a tray of some starbucks and it tipped into drivers seat. just a bit of a couple drinks spilled but it was enough. my wet okoles and weathertechs saved my ass big time. got must of it up. what was left drained down by the tilt hinges and dripped onto the weathertechs. i just got my money back on those investments.
Problem-- some coffee absorbed into the fabric on both sides at the hinges. i took out my seat and somewhat took my seat apart. foam ok. i tried some oxyxlean laundry stuff and rinsed. stain is gone BUT still have a little coffee odor. should i spray some odor remover or reclean with something else?

 

Sooner or later the smell with dissipate I wouldn't be too worried

Yeah...I'd cover it up/deal with it and give it a couple weeks...

 

You could try a pet-stain remover. It's designed to remove organic stuff and the smell- so your pet doesn't go there again. Or, in your case, so that your wife will spill coffee in the other seat instead!

 

This isn't going to help much, but when I was used car shopping for my daughter, I came across a Honda that someone had completely covered the seats and floorboard with coffee grounds. I guess they were trying to hide something really stinky. So it gets worse than the smell of coffee.

It's fine that you are trying to clean up your wife's mess......but the real question needs to be asked. How did she get out of the kitchen?

 

That would be to hide the smell of the drugs they were smuggling in the car

 

Wow ... if my truck didn't smell like old coffee, I'd wonder what was wrong.

 

atleast the smell of coffee is better than the smell of fart like whats in mine

 

Leave your windows cracked for a few days and the smell will begone. And if there is a chance of it raining then get some window rain guards from weathertech

And if you wife complains about you spending the money to get these then tell her its because she spilled coffee in the truck. Problems solved and you get a cool thing for your truck!
