Tweaked how I keep my spare in the bed. No longer leaning at an angle on the bottle jack, instead now it will be flat and the jack next to it, this is so I can stack crap on top of the spare for camping which I don’t get to do often, but when I do I need this space for crap. And I don’t camp with a lot of crap. Taking my 4yo son camping this weekend. Stoked.

Dude... That 3rd brake light is DOPE! Did you create the housing? Also, does it turn on when you press the brakes or with a switch?

Not as cool as you 4x4 guys but took my 15 in to discount tire for some new defenders. Went with 265/75R16. Will have those next Friday. Only 4.00 more per tire than the 265/70R16. Also got a cheap spare in the same size. Had a long over due alignment done since buying it in 16.

Today (actually, yesterday) I updated my head unit through the Entune app to have Alexa. Pretty cool actually and I know my kids are going to love driving me nuts by asking Alexa to tell them a joke or play a game.

Do it at the same time you do your lift because you will be definitely throwing off your alignment.
One bolt at a time, take the nut off and use a punch to push the bolt out. Don't damage the bolt threads.
If the bolt is seized, use you favorite rust penetrate and twist the bolt back and forth until you can punch it out. I had to use my impact back and worth to loosen one seized bolt...
Clean everything up then use you favorite anti-seize.
Put the bolt back in and try to re-align to where it was.
You should be able to turn the alignment tab from one extreme to the other.

    This is what I used:

Redwood spike crushed my hood so got that replaced, roof re-painted, and the whole body rubbed out. I had no idea how much you could buff out of paint. Truck was fully 'pinstriped' but now looks almost new! (well, except for the dents... lol)

Paint on the hood had chip damage clearcoat fade and top clearcoat was fading also so I had some carbon fiber vinyl laying around and wrapped the hood and the top. Also wrapped the third brake light and taillights in perforated vinyl. I'm going to reclear the hood scoop with some 2k clear. Looks alright I guess. 20201009_103556.jpg 20201009_103635.jpg 20201009_103238.jpg 20201009_104404.jpg 20201009_103226.jpg

Filled up 2 nights ago. 21.25 mpg which is the best I can recall ever getting with this. Mostly highway on the last tank but that’s still pretty impressive.

Mocking up how I'm gonna make some cross bars for the Tepui Hybox. I absolutely hate strapping surfboards or kayaks up here its such a pain. I cut L track in 4 pieces that im gonna bolt to the tent that im still kinda ehh about because im putting 8 holes in the tent. Thinking of just using some aluminum square tube for the feet and then spraying some bed liner on those 1x4s rather than buying extrusions because theyre just not necessary. Anyone have any ideas?

Yeah thats a hard one, I too hate drill into anything. Might sound stupid but I designed 4 mounts then 3D printed them for the rack ontop of my camper shell. I originally did it to mock up a future steel fab for mounts but found the prints were capable of holding my body weight, static. I later tested them with multiple kayaks attached. Held up no problem.

Those would be perfect! Wish I could get those printed. I've been putting this off for so long because I really dont want to drill through the tent but strapping stuff to the tent is such a pain in the ass especially surfboards.
