That’s the $70 one that’s in my cart  looks like it even plugs and plays direct with the taco

    That's very generous of you!
I would like to get rid of the 45 degree pipe fitting and have it look less ghetto. I can weld a threaded piece to the end.
If you leave me some excess on the ends, i can cut and aim it.
Longer header is not a bad thing.

Proportional vs. time-delay or whatever they call it. Proportional has a g force sensor that applies power to the brakes based off the amount of deceleration, and time delay will always apply a user-set level of brake regardless of how hard you hit the brakes. Higher end controllers can do both. Proportional is good for highway and time delay is good for off-road. Proportional tends to be more expensive because of the sensor.

I have a Redarc that has a remote nob, so I could hide the brains and have a little nob by the steering wheel for adjusting brake force. I can also engage the trailer brakes independently of the vehicle brakes. Also can toggle between proportional and time delay, and it has a number of other features. I'm pretty happy with it.

    What hasn't been modified?
Wound you but the redarc again?
I was looking at the tow-pro liberty for my work truck since it’s all highway and can only move work trailers that are empty. Stupid 1500

I would buy it again, but that's not to say other options out there aren't just as good. The remote knob was a big plus for me since I didn't want the controller highly visible in the cab.

With a time-delay on the highway, you can tone down the trailer brakes so the truck does more of the work. You just don't really want the trailer to be braking harder than the truck.

This absolutely sucks. Bad enough we have the situation we do with fires burning across the country as a result of natural causes and pure fucking stupidity, but add to that that some crazy piece of shit has gone out and intentionally made it worse and put more people's lives in danger is unconsionable.
This situation breaks my heart too. Living in castle rock and being 30 minutes from Dakan Rd and the Rampart Range, it blows knowing that I soon won't have my Friday night refuge on first come, first serve basis. I have not personally seen what the pictures from the news report depicts, but it doesn't surprise me. It just makes me so sad that this is the way people treat the places that they supposedly enjoy the most.

It's a good thing we have @Deathbysnusnu sending out some positive energy here with the go-cart build updates. It's been the highlight of my last few weeks watching the build.

Howdy Colorado crew! I'm a new member getting my feet wet here. Have a 2017 Stock Off-Road and loving it. Curious if anyone has leads/sites for a hard top shell for my Metallic Grey taco. I currently have a SoftTopper but looking for a topper with a rack on top for a Thule and not wanting to pay the $2,500-ish for brand new.

    Thanks!

so for the carb jetting update,
I have the main jet from .035 to .036 now, I'll stop there. Being slightly at altitude, I think going any farther will be too rich. The plug looked pretty good at .035, but there was room for more richness. A slightly lean engine produces mega HP's, but at the risk of overheating and blowing shit up.
I also drilled the idle jet from .016 to .018 and the idle has improved.
Waiting for the heavier valve springs to see what that does for it. :burp:
