Winch is pulled and ready for its new home. I was able to wiggle it out without dropping the bumper, which was nice. I also noticed cracking at my hood pins. That’ll be an easy fix though, just weld some steel there to beef up the area. I’ll probably do that tomorrow.

No kidding. She had an appointment this morning to check on progress and everything checked out! So we continue to patiently wait.

Luckily this is the only place up top that it's cracking, and it's directly around the hood pins. It's also cracking a little behind the headlights but that's patchable. At least enough to slow it down.

I wish I could make it out to @3pooches this weekend in the worst way but I would be such a dick if my wife went into labor without me because I'm off wheeling.

Psh, I'd rather be wheeling than dealing with no sleep. Asking for a friend, is 2 months old too young to hit the trails??

I figured you worked an out for Betty White Wheeling into your marriage vows!

Shiiiiit, I am finally making out because the wife agreed way back when, since I missed the prior invites while prepping for, and awaiting the birth of our girl. No way I'm backing out, since the wife and baby backed out, I'm rocking this outing bump hand and all!

I tried at 3 months...and again this weekend and she's 9 months and a week give or take.

At this point the wife is more apprehensive about the multiple hour drive to the trail head(s) vs. the actual trail riding time and bounce/rough riding, and then of course the multiple hour drive home.

To be fair, my wife was originally pumped as August was passing quickly, but between the daycare crud, ear infection and now being busy AF with work, she went ahead and took a pass and is instead doing the pumpkin picking with our nephew and my family...

I chose not to have children so I had more time to wheel.

So, I took my couple month old Boston terrier for a day trip in my brand new raptor with perforated leather seats. He did great all day and we had a blast. I stopped at the grocery store on the way home and when as I was walking out to the truck, I noticed two things. First was an excited pup hopping around, second was what looked like muddy paw prints all over the windows. As I got closer I was able to make out that the mud was on the inside..... he had diarrheaed on my drives seat, forever plugging the perforations with poop, and spread his fescues, one little paw at a time, over ever square inch of the interior of the truck.

Yes, you can take any passenger you want on a wheeling trip. There are just consequences
