Favorite Whiskey?

Been thinking about a Larceny BP. There's a pair of them at the BevMo near my work.
What Batch No. do you have? I think the ones near me are B520.

 

It’s the B520. I liked it quite a bit. I would buy another bottle if I saw one for the same price I got this one for. You must have a lot better BevMo near you because I can’t find anything that’s “hard to find” at any of the bevmos near me

 

I haven’t perused the whole thread so this one’s probably been mentioned. I keep a couple of good single malts in the cupboard, and change them up from time to time, but for an everyday whiskey my go-to is Monkey Shoulder. A lot of people don’t know that while it is indeed a blend, it is a blend of single malts. Tastes good, reasonably priced, and lo and behold, it does the job.
As usual, YMMV.

Naturally, this is just normal Larceny, but I’ve got a few BevMos around me.
Moving before the new year though, and I don’t think I’ll be so lucky at the new place. Plus have to re-meet all the local liquor store owners

 

I’m sure you have a few good spots to pick stuff up around there. You moving to the country with no stores? When I visit the brother in law down in LA I always try to hit up a total wine, I like it way more than BevMo. Bitters and Bottles is still my favorite up there

Not at all. Saves the trouble of finding a glass and much easier to pass around.

 

They do tastings from the barrel, should be able to drink from the bottle

Got lucky once more. 4-1/2 more days and I'll finally get to have some whiskey again.

 

Found a E.H. T today never tried it or even seen it around ... but at 38 bucks had to give it a go

For $40, you can't go wrong with EHTSB. It was love at first taste to me.
I actually prefer it over EHTSiB when I tried them side by side. Haven't cracked my SiB open to try this again though.

 

I’m excited about it always see the talk on here just have never seen one in person . More of a rye fan but a good bourbon has a place in my stomach as well ...
