Up top now makes a side cover for the prinsu that has the cutouts for the Baja lights. Pretty pricey at $399.

thanks again...I did try these and they work great...had to work on getting the large size to work, but once I figured out the best way to make contact between the copper and the solder these things make beautiful tight connections.

Ya, kinda gives it the up-top look along with having the spots for the bajas. I wish my prinsu’s had spots for the bajas. No buggy though.

I end up undecided on the side lights but here are the ones i do have. Both needed custom home depot/lowes brackets to fit.

Can anyone recommend a reference for wiring (4) pod lights to a roof rack? An illustration/diagram/video would be helpful!

Looks bright. It's a little bulkier than the prinsu rack right? Can we get a close up of the light on rack?

Those lights look sharp, but I live in 'bug country' so I wouldn't want billion candlepower LED's for camp lighting. You'd need to walk around your campsite in one of these to keep the moths and mosquitos out of your face.

I am working on mounting the new @Diode Dynamics SSC2 on the side on an @upTOPoverland rack. Not too much really different there, but the one thing I like about the SSC2's is the fact that they have the optional backlight colors. So you can go bright (or burn your retinas with the Pro versions) or if you want a little more mellow, switch to the amber backlights, or red even. The way I am doing it will require a hole in the rack though. I'm trying to get @Pyrotech to do the actual mounts, so hopefully we can pull something off. Just another idea to throw out there.

The backlight of the SSC2's would be perfect for this! You can even do the primary light in amber.

I just bought some 1" x 7" LED light bars from a company called Arsenal. The lights were $25 each, $25 for a wiring harness and about $25 for the super sweet Sasquatch switch. Each light has 1,200 lumens. They are pretty bright, but I think I'm gonna add a second set next to each other. The fit was pretty tight but I didn't have to drill anything, just made a small L Bracket for them to fit and ran the wires under the Prinsu cross members for the most part. Looks clean and gave me the illumination needed for those nighttime trail runs. Hope this helps!
