Does anyone have recommendations for a shop in or around KC to install suspension and wheels/tires? I know there are plenty of places that can do it but wanted to see if there were any preferred places from ya'll for our sacred tacos. Also, I realize I could install the suspension myself but am opting to have it done professionally for peace of mind and to save time. Thanks in advance for the recce's.

Thanks. You have experience with KMC? Noticed they're located in Parkville - wouldn't mind supporting my old stomping grounds.

Yes, Kris is a good guy. Helped him install his big old red lift he's got there.

Roommate got some work done with him a couple times.

Why don't we call it what it is? Truck camping. You're driving to your campsite. Where ever that is.

As far as I'm concerned, overlanding is for the same crowd of people that go on safari. They drive range rovers and restomodded FJs and drop $20k on pelican cases, a kitchenette, a fridge with solar, an ARB winch bumper, snorkel, and bridging trac-boards. All that and I mostly see them driving on nothing more than basic doubletrack and they winch themselves out of things that they could have done by taking a better line.

EDIT: I had a rough day. I stand by everything I said, but I'd be more civil on any other day.

I was inspecting my rear axle and said Fluid Film three times and he appeared in my truck bed.

I'm #overlanding anytime I'm not on a boat or flying overseas.

    Deal with it.

I traveled over land to my mailbox earlier today. Not sure what all the fuss is about.

I always thought overlanding was just soft-core off-roading; like the middle ground between a gravel road and climbing obstacles. Basically, if these giant Mercedes vans with steel bumpers decked out inside that Instagram influencers are buying can overcome it, it's overlanding. If you can bring a trailer, it's proooooobably overlanding, or am I missing something here?
