Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
that air suspension has been the #1 reason we get these trucks traded in.

It's a simple setup, and the only issues any of our air equipped vehicles were Grand Cherokee Overland/Summit models with the 4 corner air suspension.

Air lines had to be replaced after some years.

Could be the harsh winters out in your area?

Ah, yeah there was one Grand Cherokee here for that.

The trucks have all faired well over 100-200k miles as the owner has a lot of people buying these trucks.

They all rope, barrel race, etc. so they've always got a gooseneck hitch attached to their trucks.

Are upper arms really worth it? I don't wheel much honestly with my open diff prerunner. Mostly looking for the cheaper/best option. I use my truck for a lot of camping and basic work.

Yeah. I will keep you in mind for sure!

They make the steering less finicky and ride slightly nicer

Yeah, I'm just wondering if it's worth the $500 for that.

I will say my truck does "walk" a bit when braking hard. Plus I'm at 215k so my upper bushings probs arent great either.

I dunno..but I will say I still rock the stock uppers and ride around on 31s on nothing too technical, mostly washed out forest service roads and haven't had an instance where they bind up

I'm on a full OME kit with 881's. Dakar HD pack in the rear. The front is 1/2" higher than the back due to my shell. I wish I had it more level.

A stock tacoma is very capable, i found that out when my stock 1st gen was keeping up with a bunch of modded 2nd gens with coilovers, armor, control arms etc at hidden falls offroad park on 31s i hit the axle 5 or so times but it never slowed down

I think so, if only to keep the stock ball joints from wearing out faster from the angle due to the lift.

Yeah, I guess though if I run the 2.0's the stock ones wont wear out super fast due to having the correct angle and the joint not being as stressed right?

    Shocks don't provide lift.

    Springs do.

So using the same springs technically nets you the same lift (assuming the spring seat is in a similar position to the OME shock.

Yeah. I think the 881's are taller than the 2.0's.

if you have them set to stock height yes, but performance coilovers are adjustable for lift height

Ah yeah the bottom of the seat moves up/down.

I just remember the top of the coilover looking funky.
