You gonna still run an 8” co with that kit?

Yup, it’s designed for an 8” CO with standard rod end and a pretty typical coil bucket adapt.

Are these the ones that are machined for extra travel? I'm local to you so might be interested. I had just gotten an extra OE CV to order an extra shaft and build a spare assembly but if these are the machined ones, then I can just keep my current ones as spares.

they are the longer shaft part but from what I can understand the outer ends are from a normal cv axel. So long story short yes they are for more travel otherwise they wouldn’t fit.

He is asking if the inner cv cup was machined but dirt king to allow it to achieve greater angles. Did you buy complete assembled axles from dirt king? Or just the longer shafts? If you bought complete assembled axles then it is likely that they machined the inner cups

I’m looking at some 3.0 bypasses for the front of my Long travel kit does it really make a difference? There tripple bypasses with three tubs by 10in i already have 2.5 x10 fox’s infront but is it worth the $ of getting the tripple bypasses? And if someone can chime in on shocks etc that be great very new to this

if your really gonna push the truck then i could see bumping it up, but valving and proper tube tunage is the most important. A single 3.0 coilover truck tuned right thats dialed in would walk all over a 2.5/3.0 truck with out of the box stuff put together for looks.

Depends on how much you have budgeted for the rear - big bypasses won’t help if you're stock in the rear.

oooo gotcha, honestly I have no idea. I bought the truck with them already installed. I get a pretty dam good amount of flex out of them as is. Is there a way to tell? Like pulling the boot back to see something?

Yes if you pull the big end of the inner boot back and snap a picture of the cup we should be able to tell

Edit: if you pull the big end clamp off the inner joint the cup should slide right off and you can get a good picture. That would be best.

Here’s the thing, you will have to build everything custom for that kit as far as shock mounts unless Tommy’s making you some. Make sure you want to build mounts around those. I’ve bought a bunch of parts for deals because they were less than the thing I wanted. Eventually I end up selling them for less than I paid because I eventually afford what I wanted in reality.

Tommy fabbed up some custom shock towers & the mounts all line up for this kit & plus i dont think i’d be able to afford anything else... i’m on a budget kind of so all my parts are used etc But i think this is my best bet
