I've already got a .22 LR, 40 Cal XD, .22/410 over under, and an Arisika. Looking for another gun to add to my collection. I'm thinking either an 870 Express or a larger caliber long rifle. Opinions?

I was actually thinking about a 308, 30-30, or 7mm. As far as long rifles go.

An AK is always an excellent choice.

I love my 870 Express combo. I have one from 1986 or 87, it may be the first year they came out? Anyway, the slug barrel is smooth bore and there's also a 28 VRB. I like the newer turkey guns they've got out.

Take someone out to a nice dinner or something instead? I keed a little bit- cause if you just wanna "add to a collection" seems like you might not really be sure what you want or have a use for it?

IMHO, Every colection needs a good wheel gun, in either .357, or .44 mag.

i've got an old (real old, pre-safety) marlin 336, in 30-30, that is a tackdriver(always has been).
also have had a few 870s and they were all great guns.
for a pump shotgun, you cant go wrong with a mossberg500 or remington 870. there are a million aftermarket parts for them so you can do pretty much anything you want with them....

    I'd go with an 870/Mossberg 500 or a .357 Mag.

No worries- I'm not much of a collector, so my handgun and the 870 police in my closet are just tools. Adding more isn't my style...altho I do agree a wheel gun would be pretty BA.

I'm gonna go with a lever gun (30-30 or 45-70).

You can trick them out pretty good too.
