Sorry to hear that. Fortunately the upholstery is removable so you can clean it and get the foam assessed and cleaned if necessary as well.

 

I swapped out my lenses this morning. Incredibly easy with the removal tool. The downside is the color is a little different between the compressor and locker switches, so I’m going to order new covers for those.

 

Looking for this cigarette lighter cover as mine's missing. It's not something that can be sold individually, so I'm hoping someone has something 'permanently' plugged in there that would be willing to part ways with it.

 

JK, I found the correct parts diagram, buried in a weird section. The correct part number for the tan is 85535-0C010-E2

 

Man I’m talking to myself today. I got in my backup camera. I wired it in so I can view it in reverse or just by selecting it on the head unit.

My head unit has a 'reverse trigger' wire, to tell it when the truck is in reverse. Under the drivers kick panel, this wire is what runs to the rear and feeds the reverse lights. I tapped into this for my 'reverse trigger.

The camera itself has a + and -. I tapped into my head units wiring for that. So the camera will always have power when the truck is on, and because of the 'trigger wire', the head unit knows when to display it on the screen.

 

The picture is pretty darn clear!

I noticed on the parts diagram earlier that there's a bulb on the hazards switch. I didn't think much of it but on my way to chick fil a for dinner I noticed my hazard switch isn't lit up. I asked a friend if his is, and it is. Ordered a new bulb. $5 for this stupid thing. 90011-01018

 

Same bulb goes in the fog light switch too. Replaced mine a while ago

 

Some cock sucker changed lanes into me today, almost causing me to pit maneuver them. They did it intentionally too, expecting me to hit my brakes. Pissed me off to no end but I stayed the course with my prego wife in the car. I leaned on the horn but it was wimpy. I’m thinking 3 pairs of hella super tones because fuck you and everyone around me. The price has jumped though since I last checked at $40 a pair.

 

That sucks dude. People are crazy. You would think with enough steel on a truck, folks would get the clue that they wouldn’t win that fight.

 

You would think. I saw him zooming up in the right lane, towards another car. I accelerated a little bit to close the gap. Rather than them swerve over I assumed they would slow down and zip behind me. Nope, they came over anyways. Then continued to drive like a dick.
