Yeah, I feel like I would just run them with 2" of lift. As my rear lift with the HD dakars is only 2.5" since I have a shell.

You mean Dakar and you added a leaf right?

1st gen Tacoma Dakar leaf pack is only available in 1 version.

But yeah like Ryan said, adjust the fronts as needed.

I'd still suggest new UCA in lieu of replacing the stock UBJ.

Yeah just the normal pack no AAL. Yeah maybe I just need to pony up and do it. My UBJ aren't looking too hot. It's just bad timing because I have to do brakes and belts and stuff too.

I've only ever welded new assemblies so I'm unsure but wouldn't the heat of welding those onto your truck with the LCAs still attached distort the rubber bushings?

Melt them, very possible. But the welding isn't done directly on the LCA, which is where the bushings are. So heat transfer should be minimal if you are careful. I was mostly careful. :anonymous::fingerscrossed:

And even Marlin stated they can be welded on with the suspension in place.

Just weld your cams in place after you get an alignment and never worry about a bad alignment again*
