    Yeah I was going to do the diff drop then I read all the negative stuff around 2nd Gen drops and was like nope lol plus some dude caught it on a rock and destroyed everything including his oil pan holy hell

    I feel the same lol.
    The cv mod should not be too bad, just remove the hose clamp on the shaft part and slide about .5” and put a new hose clamp. Just need to make sure the clamp is skinny enough. Then a little blue tape on the shaft at the end of the boot to see if it slips and you’re all done. Makes it sound easy

    Though, I’m tempted to take some door edge guard and see if that would sit nicely in between the rubbing fins.

    What are your front coils set at? I just ordered the stage 2 with 2.5" up front. I tried looking for pictures of your truck to see how it sits. Can you post some pictures to show the height of your truck?!

    Here’s my before and after pic, for another take. Mines sitting at about 3” up front and the performance leafs in the rear. About .5” difference between the front and rears. There is a slight incline in the pictures.

    There really is, not saying the long bed looks bad though. I probably would have gotten one if it would have fit in my garage.

    I have a whole slew of clamps including some ones for fuel injector lines that clamp different but let you bear down but dont cut, I think, now I cant really remember I'll have to check tomorrow lol

    I just have some cheap ones I bought for the a/c drain mod. I need to look at them but I don’t think they’ll work for the cv or that I’d want to use there.

    At least in NC you don’t really need to worry about rust prevention... unless you spend a lot of time on the beach. I think in the 5 or 6 years I was Bragg, it snowed 3 times and one was that bad ice storm in 2003, maybe...

    that’s one thing I don’t plan on doing. I’ve considered it but can’t see me actually needing it. I’m also under the impression that if it’s working the way it should there is nothing to worry about.
