Hell, Nuno Bettencourt said probably the saddest thing yet.

So freaking close to a reunion. And the fact that he wanted to do it. Not his manager or Roth, it was him.

I remember last spring Dave hinting at a future stadium tour with the Foo Fighters and other bands, as did the band manager. Then nothing. Mustve been when things got bad for Ed.

So glad I got to see them twice though.

I read about this once on another vehicle and it was the pcv valve that needed replacing. Maybe the valve covers are leaking bad and letting oil get in there? If that's possible

Did a rear wheel bearing adjustment on the cruiser. Of course the regular PITA members on MUD said I needed some special tool, I really don't know if those guys are just extremely Toyota butthurt or mildly moronic. It's a god damn face spanner, I don't need a $75 Toyota tool that not even the dealers have anymore, just any ol adjustable face spanner works perfect. Got em dialed right in. Rears were just a touch loose. Also it's a pain to do without the rear locker engaged, damn sleeve falls out of position.

Can see here when the extra bearing play allowed the rotor to walk into the shield on tight turns

Cancer has a way of doing that. I've known 3 people in the last few years with it. One beat it no problem. One beat it, it was gone for a year, then it came back and she didn't make it. The last one was my uncle. I saw him at Christmas and he looked normal, having been diagnosed 2 months prior. Then I saw him at the end of this August, and he had lost 100 lbs, and then passed away a couple weeks ago. I can't really wrap my head around it - there's a lot of reasons to be hopeful that it can be beaten, because it can be. But its not a guarantee - even for celebrities. :( Sometimes the initial prognosis is great too, but that also isn't a guarantee.

Also @Wulf, since I had the axle shaft out. I measured the diameter with some calipers. 1.265". That's a beefy axle shaft, and somehow a stock LC mostly on pavement with less than 35s can still tweak the splines on the locker side.

They aren't kidding about that tenderloin sandwich. Had a field supervisor bring me one of those a long time ago. Yuuuck. Its all deep fry.

For some reason he was really excited about it... I have no idea why.

Must be. That was right here in KC, you'd think he'd know better what with all the good food we got around here.

I think 2k is steep but we had a lot cleaner ranch FJ40s and pickups show up on marketplace during COVID. Most with titles.
