The Wife and i went to Utah last summer to visit my Sister road around for hours, then looked at the gas gauge and said "Oh Shit" we were so focused on how pretty it was we forgot about the gas we were using.

 

You lied to me earlier Frankie. You said "no shenanigans this weekend" and you didn't even make it out of the beginning of the weekend! WTF!?

It's so boring here. Sure, we get the fall color thing but it's not the same unless you're far away and up high so that means a 3 hour drive to somewhere.

At least out west there's more interest. More rocks and desert and stuff. Real mountains.

 

That was us we were not prepared for the drive, we were just going to kohls so he could get socks. He ended up buying me like 6 shirts, a jacket, pants and socks. Them he said let's go look at Harrison Blvd. Next thing I know we're driving up bogus basin road for miles on just a bit more than a quarter of a tank. Drinking rockstars and no bathrooms on the way...

 

Time for a tiregate.

 

Yeah, there's a lot of beauty but the traffic is getting horrible. Population is growing fast and already showing signs of destruction by careless people... I'll have to find my new Idaho someday cause it will be shit here in no time... makes me so sad. Already graffiti up in the mountains today. People are assholes.

Yeah, it really does. Feels like I'm the only one who sees it happening. People probably think I'm being an asshole but I left California as soon as I could at 17 to get away from this shit. Here it is 25 years later catching up to me...

 

Ive seen it...Boise has changed a lot since 2002.

 

Doesn't really feel the same at all... the north end of Boise reminded me today of why I loved it so much here. Beautiful trees, beautiful homes, had this feeling to it today. I love it here, I wish it wasn't growing the way it is.

 

Where we lived in Idaho, it used to be fewer people, now its getting crowded, tons of hunters making hunting crappy. Part of a big reason we decided to sell and move
