The State can lose almost a billion dollars in unemployment money. Nobody gets fired, fined or arrested. The minute they think you fucked up they hold your feet to the fire, take you their court and fine you and charge you interest on top of it.

There have been different federal assistance rates during this whole mess. At first, it was $500 additional, then stopped, now $300. If you qualified to receive any payment from unemployment, you get the full federal additional amount.

I've been in construction 13 years and used unemployment off and on since early on. I am dealing with my own issue now, and they will always have a minimum of a week to respond, especially via online correspondence. I have to agree about questioning the legitimacy of a one day notice to court proceedings.

@White lightning boosted log into your unemployment account online tonight and look through there for letters and notices. Every letter I've received via snail mail is also saved in their system online.

Lucky to still have some stock washers as a back up and an M12 was too small but the M14x1.5 worked perfectly!

Ok this is perfect! It is almost as good as the artificial phallic device that was installed on the gear shifter of James May's buggie in The Grand Tour - Morocco here .

Since 2012, the crew I run with has this "hot potato" type of thing where we hide a Tijuana Mama (a spiced pickled meat sausage) somewhere on the vehicle.
As it is found and surreptitiously transferred to another vehicle, the package can develop pin holes.
Suggested hidden locations are, but not limited to:
    - gas tank cover (open the cover, plop out goes the weiner) This is particularly humorous in Oregon - "sir, your weiner dropped on the ground"
    - leaf springs via zip ties
    - seat adjuster via zip ties
    - just on the seat so when ya jump in, there is a bit of a surprise when you sit down.
    - spare tire(s)
    - base of the CB antenna
    - inside seat slider rails (this only worked on a duramax)
    - broken tail light housing
    - winch hause opening

This is similar to @Blackdawg 's plastic kazoo trick

If they were like $4-5 I probably would have ordered some and gotten my friends with it. I find that to be hilarious

So I was hearing a really bad squeaking sound coming from the center of the truck when it was in reverse with the gas pressed I assume it’s the U joint so I threw a glob of grease on each one and the noise stopped should I start getting my self prepared to replace these soon or is it possible the noise was caused by some debris stuck in the joint and it got cycled out and is fine now?

Drive it around and see if the noise comes back. You can always crawl under there and see if there is any excess movement. Most likely it really needed grease.

Drunk shopping led to a waterport purchase. I'd been waiting for it to go on sale at Costco, but finally gave in. My wife asked if she could wash her hair with it on camping trips , so I guess she approves.
