Had same issue on my truck and investigated today. It’s been very cold lately.. figured maybe frozen or out of fluid. Was indeed low so I put in a gallon of (-30). Nothin. So I got home and disconnected the lines and blew them out with air. Perfect flow. Retest. Nothing. Checked fuses and found the 10 amp inside bad. Replaced, squirters work. Great.

Drove around and tried again later. Inop again, no pump buzz, but fuse is NOT popped.

Wiring load tested good. How many 3rd gens out there need a new washer pump?

I dont know this for a fact but it was widely discussed on the ram forum when I was over there. A lot of guys were having issues with the rain x orange stuff, said it was causing issues with their washers. Personally ive used it for years with no issues but since went back to the cheap blue stuff.

Could be. I did have green RainX bug remover in it which seems pretty thick for wash solvent. Find it hard to believe that difference would wear out a wash pump. 2019, you never know anymore

Apparently it doesn’t wear it out, it clogs the pump with some sort of solids floating in the fluid. RainX fluid is notorious for it.

140 for labor? It literally takes all of 5 minutes to change out that pump.

That makes more sense. Just provided power and ground to the pump. Works just fine. Problem must be upstream

Went to take apart clam shell and swap in a test wiper stalk.. just for giggles I tried it again and the pump/ wipers work as normal. Down at connector, there is another bare and unused connector. Anyone know what it’s for?

Explains why it never came on haha. Seriously though there must be an explanation. Either connectivity issue/ switch issue or body controller turning it off for some reason. Seemed to reset with a key cycle

I got the cheapest low temp fluid at the store, couple spare fuses. Load tested wiring at pump. Pass. No issue since

I have a 2010 4 cyl. and my washer pump just quit. Anyone know where/which fuse to check? I can’t find it labelled anywhere.
    Thanks!

You're in the gen 3 forums.

But, maybe check the fuse box under your instrument panel, slot/fuse #12?

I'd help more if I knew anything about the 2nd gens, but that was just a quick Google search.
