Amazon Prime Day October 13 & 14, 2020-Post Up Those Deals!

Prime Day 2020 begins on Tuesday, October 13, and runs through Wednesday, October 14, although some early deals are appearing now.

Subscribe and share your best deals or the deals you think everyone should know about.

Unfortunately on the actual Prime Day I will not be finding the individual deals people post and copying a link onto this first post in the thread. I would have to take two days off from work and spend every minute on Tacoma World either updating or waiting to update and I do not have that kind of free time. See my note below for the plan to cut through the BS and link directly in the thread to where the deals are first posted.

Why post this thread? What I wrote last year holds true this year:

"I have found the deals hard to find. I cannot spend hours looking through the crap to find the diamond but I have had good luck with threads like this. We all share common interests and often something that interests one of us will interest most of us so the more people that subscribe to the thread and post deals the better the chances we will all have of finding something decent."

You must be an Amazon Prime member participate in Prime Day.

Sometimes this is more hype then reality but some of the best deals I have found are ones that other people have provided links to so share early and often.

Note: Inevitably members will subscribe and post to this thread before the sale starts next Monday. There will usually be pages of "discussion" and "chatter" about the upcoming sale before it actually starts. When the sale finally kicks off I will have one of the moderators clean up the BS that will inevitably take place so people can go directly to the first post that really starts to talk about the deals available so people do not have to shift through pages of "stuff" before getting to the deals.

This thread was expensive for me last year. Ended up with a new battery charger and jump starter that I hadn't known i needed.

 

Prime day is Amazon just off loading a bunch of useless cheap junk collecting dust in their warehouses. Change my mind.

Correction, Woot.com is exactly that everyday! This is special because they do it directly on their site for one day.
I think just like everything else, it started out with really good deals, but over time it’s harder to find the real deals mixed in with cheap stuff with inflated “MSRP” that makes it feel like you got a good deal.
Not saying I’m not going to check it out though!

 

Yeah, I'll definitely check it out, but the deals aren't THAT great...there may be one or two, but they generally sell out within minutes.

Amazon is not what it used to be. It relies on buymenow junkies addicted..........the delivery times suck (prove me wrong), with dates like Oct 23-Nov 13 promised. No more same day and really very few 3 day deliveries. PLUS the prices are HIGHER than the store and actual product web sites. The point was made and lost. More and more companies are bailing because of the nasty fees.

I am not predicting Amazon failure, but the charm is lost. And they don't seem to care.

 

And this is why Amazon bought Woot and it's been downhill since then. I stopped checking Wood nightly when the buyout happened. Too much junk to sift through...
