White oak. All the red oak I have used has a pink/red hue to it. It’s some hard stuff.

Why wouldn’t you put your brand on it. You don’t see Rolex or BMW try to hide the emblem.

Yup, exactly...she posted it on her facebook so thats why the one person said that...

I know my wife likes the one i made, shes allergic to eggs so im the only one to really benefit from using the egg holder. My wife is a bit clumsy cooking breakfast and I just hate dropping eggs on the floor...so its good for us

I have made a few people upset with me too. The making part of what I do is for me. I may gift, give, sell, burn, or otherwise destroy anything I make. If someone wants me to make something for them, it will be made the way I want to make it. I have a neighbor who just showed up with old crappy water stained warped pine and a drawing of what she wanted. I told her I would be glad to make the boot stand she wanted, but it would be done with good hardwood, and the way I wanted to make it, she didn't want it anymore. I tried to explain that this is my hobby, I do it for me. If I do it for someone else it is because I want to, not because they want me to. I am and have always been a bit of a jerk about my time.
