I do not. @OVTune might since he found this issue playing with the TT development.

You might monitor the fuel flow at WOT?

Going to update to the TSB tonight and go for a 30 min drive. I am very curious how it compares to 2.0 on 04B13

Been having some luck with the little tinkering I have time for. I do get full throttle opening "81.96" ( OVtune said 82 was the max) at full pedal reguardless of engine load, speed, or RPM. I haven't done a log that I can post I was using OBD Fusion to watch the values while I was Driving. Even tried 35mph in 6th gear 100% pedal I saw 81.75 on the throttle position. When I get a chance to log with Techstream I will to verify.

It's not perfect yet, but has good acceleration without the tip in being too crazy. I'm going to drive this one for a few weeks before modifying anything again.

FYI I've Been editing 04B90 Super FOB Prem OL

See Maps Below and spreadsheet with map values

Quoting myself here to show comparisons. @tonered @MOC221_ @DavidOverLand

This is the file that i have now with the same conditions, light throttle, low rpm. notice the difference

    nomorebuck.jpg nomorebuck2.jpg

Anyway, in addition to this. I found and eliminated my full throttle limit.

First gear full throttle to second gear full throttle.

    fullthrottleatlast1to2.jpg

    3rd 4th and 5th gears various rpms

    nolimitnogear.jpg

and an overall picture with some 02 sensor logs in it as well

    overallpicture.jpg

The change i made, Select the whole map and hit CTRL+I

    linearair.jpg

I will as always be testing for negativities and improvements throughout the week. The most fun you can have on a rainy day. oh, and if you turn off traction control and full send in first gear, the tires wont hold....at all

EDIT:!!! I also increased the Torque calculated during full throttle to 5000 across the board

I have my own version of airload map changes, the 1st/reverse/2H/4H throttle limit to 100, and some changes from 800-1000 IIRC on the 1st gear torque map.
I've got bucking and stuttering that I have to deal with too eventually. Anyway, haven't been at it in a while.
@92ehatch , if you've got another even more refined 04B41 premium SFOB file you're willing to share, I'll try it.

Awesome you got it! I often thought of doing the control I to the accel to air load request table but was a little chicken lol. I'd like to hear your impressions on it after some time.

I was scared the do it but i saw the auto guys doing something similar.

That was one 10 min drive so too early to tell if there are any negatives but I'll keep posted if i find any at all.

I need to do my normal commutes which involves a good mix of normal cruising, stop and go and interstate. After a few days of that i should know pretty well.

I still have your email so I'll send it to you.

I have made a lot of changes since the last one i sent you. Just keep in mind that some of these are not tested much.

    Nice work!

I love how that map looks as well as you getting full torque.

How does it drive setup like that?

no change from the previous file i had, except i could feel when the throttle was slapping back from 82 degrees to 40 degrees under full throttle. now i dont feel it (because its not doing it)

im still rocking your smoothed airload tables, i like them

04B14 Stock drives very nicely. It is a lot like 1.05 Base but with some missing torque under 3,500. In all not a bad tune.

I put two tanks on it while waiting for OVT to launch the 04B14 Tune Pack.

    :hattip:

    Who does it feel?

this is great work, thanks for sharing again.

as noted, i backed down to plain 04B14 SFOB 93 Dump Tubes, but with 100% throttle limits, top speed 312kph, and AGM edits. no ALC edits at all.

i have done just one thing from this, ctrl-I on the Acceleration Throttle Request to Airload. just that, taking small steps. will report back.

and by the way, if you haven't tried interpolating the whole Acceleration Throttle Request to Airload table, it just flattens it totally in the model. anyone know if this is a standard vF function when you select an entire table?

Curious, where are people getting the files others are modifying? I assume they just post the file for all to DL?

Reach out directly to someone who is posting about their tunes. Maybe they'll share a file, maybe they'll share a map so you can diy.

When you upgrade to vF you can request the tune pack for your ecu. This contains vft files of the 2.0 tunes

new customers buy the tune pack for $390

Well my drive today felt great.

Changing the throttle request to airload table to linear did make throttle response a bit touchy again (similar to my first tune edit)

there were still some lumpy feelings in 1st and 2nd but im not sure if that was ACIS or in my throttle tables.

I did not log this drive (should have)

I saw no ill effects from changing that table thus far. got 21.7 mpg for the round trip (40miles) with a mix of city stop and go and highway driving.

will continue to monitor and test
