Erik's Bike Shop. I think they are a midwest chain of brick and mortar stores. Looks like they're still in stock on their website, pick-up only though :\

Funny thing, I physically went to the store to try and order one the day the bike was announced and they told me they were all sold out. A few days later I check online and I'm able to order one?

First impression is that they seem kinda big. No clue if they’ll feel that way underfoot.

Big like your foot is loose or just the overall size?

Overall size of the pedal looks big in hand. Haven’t mounted them yet.

    Oh ok.
Just got the composite Oneups. I was going to order some CB stamps because they have a small size and I have small feet. Yup let the jokes begin. But I kept reading reviews that they have a weird hump in the middle that could be felt through the shoe.

For sure always check shop work, unless you know them well and trust them. Regardless, EVERY new bike needs a throughout once-over when you get it, and after a few rides again.

Moab was a zoo this weekend. Never seen it like that, even during Jeep safari.
Had a blast though. The Wreckoning on front and rear Push was insane on that ride.
In typical TWE fashion, snowing up top and 75 and clear skies at the bottom. My dumb ass didn't bring a jacket/layer so I froze for top half of the ride.

    not enough.
Two weekends ago was perfect. not too cold up top, not too hot at the bottom, and it didn't reach freezing temperatures overnight. and there was very few people. I'm going again this weekend and planning on riding Sunday...I'm very much expecting a conga line going down it. :/ But TWE is always a good time.

I saw that, I had to double check that they were all commencal riders. but yeah, all one bike.

Being in Alabama we've taken a lot of rain for a few days from Hurricane Delta. Yesterday was first time riding in very wet conditions even rained on the ride some.
I understand some places no allowing you to ride when wet or rainy, but places that do allow it I'd take advantage of it.

It's different, but enjoyable, I can see it getting you better at knowing and understanding what to do when bike won't find traction.
Coldwater Mountain in Oxford, AL is great for anyone in South East.

yeah, most places in UT, it's a big no-no to ride when wet. the mud just isn't friendly to the trails. if you're in southern Utah, you REALLY don't want to go when wet because of flash floods and that mud sticks like literal cement. besides, the rain here is cold. it sucks.

I will be getting there Wednesday and leaving Friday. We should link up for a ride if at all possible. I imagine it will be a small zoo with fall break in full swing but I could care less.

Not a biking trip this time. We're doing this thing called um...high...hy...hiking? Idk, my sisters really into it, but it sounds lame. Something about being on trails but not on a bike. :notsure:
