It’s the blacked out version of the pro badge but it says TRD Off Road. It’s hard to see unless the sun is shining on it to be honest

Guess they assume you're gonna used a set of locking lug nuts with them which is what I guess I'll have to do.

C745B811-DE49-4ADD-A99C-56D6E9578145.jpg I put my Solo Motorsports Tundra Rack and Pinion back in. Was fixed free of charge under warrantee. That was pretty cool beat the shit out of it brake it and they fix it for free. Priceless. Installed my 16” limit straps and installed a Howe 1450 psi steering pump with reservoir/ w filter. Still waiting for more parts but Im sure am having fun. The +2 Total Chaos/Fabtech 6” bracket lift is coming along. Might as well make the steering flawless while I’m at it.... 17441F3C-7E78-4E8B-AED1-B2383EA5730F.jpg B62F7A41-66F7-46C1-AF37-0D76D08BD869.jpg

I got this one too! This was one of my First Mods...Easy install, But:
After wiring it up , and programing, and Then pushing lock button on remote 3 times, it didnt work...
So I pulled it apart "4 times"!!! Finally went back and watched the YouTube install Video again, and realized I was pressing the Remote button Tooooo fast!
Went back out to truck, reprogramed it, pushed remote 3 times (but a little slower this time) and it F'N worked!! Arrrrg!!! :frusty: It was probably working the first time!
So, what I'm trying to say is, (Don't push the button REALLY FAST!) LOL Easy install though, Video was helpful....

They’re all really good guys. I met them for the first time in the early 2000s. Lucky enough to be a known fan of the band after all these years.

That’s how I found out I had the OEM remote start. I read about it here and tried myself BUT too quick. I tried again a couple days later, taking my time, and it worked like a charm. I was about to buy a third party remote start too.

‘Yeah, it’s just normally what I do. The last two Tundras were the same. The 03 Tundra Limited 4x4 I still own has all the badges and OR stickers. It’s my son’s daily driver. This time I actually like the black emblems with the SW and OR stickers. I’m going to wait a bit longer and see how it goes. But I don’t mind any insights or opinions...so y’all keep them coming.

Obviously, I don't know for sure, but I think you are probably fine. Facebook Marketplace has a number of folks who buy in bulk from places going out of business, excess inventory, large sales on Amazon or other places. I recently had to purchase a number of things, such as patio heaters, patio umbrellas, etc. Found them all on Facebook marketplace for a ridiculous price. In one case (umbrellas) the guy bought them for ten cents on a dollar at a restaurant supply distributor who was going out of business. The other (patio heaters) the guy bought excess inventory for Lowes and Home Depot and was selling out of his garage.

I also found out from a guy that Home Depot and Lowes don't own the appliances they sell in their store. They remain the property of the manufacturer. At the end of the season when the new models come out, the manufacturer has to pick up the old inventory and replace it with the new models. Since the manufacturer doesn't want the appliances back local guys come in and buy them at below cost and then resell them on Craigslist and Facebook marketplace.

Hope that makes you feel better ... :)

I keep looking for Tacoma parts but no luck so far!

I am constantly impressed by the level of knowledge on this forum. Impressed when I see people fabricating racks, changing out the suspension, welding in custom parts, flashing the cpu, cutting apart the front end for bumpers, rewiring about everything possible at the same time putting a light in it and changing out the gears in the differential.

With that said: I put on these knobs and they are awesome.
