If you got the cash then id buy it, but dont get a loan, i think youd be happier with a 4runner or a lexus or a fj cruiser, but for that price kinda hard to pass up

I’d suggest the following mods since you’re still in high school: money for insurance, gas, and repairs.

My advice is not to touch the exhaust system. Now I'm making assumptions about your free cash because you are a student, but these trucks are a pain if you get something wrong and if your state has annual inspections it could be a money pit.

get an insurance quote on that before you jump the gun, know what you’re going to be paying every month just to have it, above and beyond the cost of the truck. High school male in a 2017 truck, I have a feeling your rates will be...a lot.

Do yourself a favor, and spend your cash on a used truck for under 5k. No reason why you need a 2017 in high school

I realize that's not what you want to hear but it's the smart thing to do. Right now you need to be thinking about what you're going to do after high school. College? Military? Get a job? Either way, you dont know a. If you will have a place to park it B. If you'll even need it day to day, or c. You might need that money for other things (rent/deposit on an apartment, buying a couch and/or other furniture, etc.

When I graduated high school I had a ten year old two wheel drive f150 that, tbh I still wish I had today.

To me the concept of a performance exhaust is increase in engine output etc.

If you want engine Performance, the Taco is not really a good fit.

No one can tell you where to spend your money, but some mods that are more popular are bed racks, suspension, bed cover etc.

I understand wanting the truck to sound cool, but whatever you are paying up front double it of you plan to keep the truck a while. My experience with "value" exhaust upgrades vs the $10k kits you see on sports cars

Screw that I had to drive a damn Ford Pinto station wagon in high school. I would have lit that thing on fire with myself inside to drive a Toyota truck.

15? Either something is really wrong with it or you have a really nice uncle. My 17 was 32k back in April. I'd jump on that no matter what trim it is
