Yes. These as well as the Hornady SST's were both good.

How were the eggs? When we tried it the eggs were like cardboard.

    The lasagna was good.

Cardboard for sure. If I care to wait, I get a rolling boil, dump it in and double the times and stirs. Sand on the 2nd and 3rd stir I beat it a little to try to help it absorb the water. Usually comes out a little better.

My favorite is the biscuits and gravy.

    Thanks!
    Was awesome.

Cant say the same for the copper bullets...
Going to see if these barnes tipped 150s perform a little better than the rem 168s with the all copper bullet on the next one.

All I shoot is Barnes, they’ve always performed flawlessly for me. 168 gr TTSX out of my 308 has taken 3 moose and a couple deer in the last few years.

    Good to hear.
We just went to non lead... still working out the terminal performance.

First trip back out I had a decent but small buck in the crosshairs at 100yds... almost did it... hopefully I'll get another chance. Would love to see how these work compared to the first buck.
The exit wound was pathetically small. No blood at point of impact.
    No blood trail.
    He went about 100yds.

My broadhead makes a bigger exit wound.

You were shooting Barnes or another all copper projectile? It’s not clear from your post. What caliber? What range? The Barnes stuff needs some speed to open up. I’ve had chicken egg sized exit wounds on most of the animals I’ve shot with them. The moose were all longer range (250-300 yards) and the bullets were found trapped by the off-side skin, perfectly expanded.

    I shoot a remington 700BDL in 30.06.

Ive always had excellent performance with stock remington ammo, 150gn pspcl.
After test shooting a few different brands of copper I decided to hunt with the remington 168gn tipped with the tsx.
    They all shot well downrange.

I was thinking because of all the burns we've had the past several seasons I would be doing some long range sniping but I tend to hunt archery style and when this buck disappeared I know the country and went around behind him and came down on him from above and shot him at 60yds, straight down hill.
I decided to try the 150gn ttsx since most all of my shots seem to end up being 100yds or less but theres always the possibility of a shot out to 400.
A guy I met out in that spot handloads and he went with the 150gn ttsx because that was the only one he liked that would get up to speed out of his 30.06.
Im focusing on double lung shots from now on and treating every shot as a bow shot from now on.
Ive already heard of two losses on what the guy(s) felt were good shots.
100yds is a long way in this country for a buck to go after a mortal wound... I tracked him and found him but usually they dont go that far after a rifle shot.
Looking forward to seeing how these 150ttsx's do

This is the ballistics guy I met.
I helped retrieve his buck out of the canyon.
    Screenshot_20201009-131212_Gallery.jpg

And I have to show off the new diamondback I put on ol buckslayer.
Its needed an upgrade for a while now.
FINALLY came last week. Put a small buck in the crosshairs first time out.
    Wow is it superclear!
And when I was sighting in I discovered you can use it at 9x!!
Didnt even need to look thru the spotter at 100yds to see where I hit the target.
Low light performance, yeah Im not used to being spoiled like this.
I'll get better pics in the field hopefully with some antlers but yeah, pretty excited!

Those and Hornady grouped best for me. The federal barns expander didn't do as well. 220 got benched since Ohio went straight wall cartridge.
