Easy going today. Threw on the warranty replacement seat covers today. The old ones lasted two years. Dogs man...

I also adjusted the the sub out from under the driver seat to sit behind me. Sounds way better now.

And swapped out the old flyzeye for a brighter one.

Towards the bottom where the bolts are that mount to the bumper there was some dirt caked up internally. Very minimal, but it was at each side. I believe it’s able to seek through the really small gasket that is there over time. I will add some sealer there in hopes it doesn’t happen again. Other than that with this grease that they use originally I could hardly turn the gears by hand.
Here’s a pic of where the dirt and other debris was able to seek in. (It is the same on the other side as well) You’d think that opening where the bolt comes in at would be there.

Very odd. Well I hope once you get it all back together that it works nice and smoothly. That’d be awesome.

Thought so! Put in my order a month ago. Hoping to get them in the next week or two. Are they great?

Appreciate it, I’m thinking that it should. It is a fun process taking it apart though, and actually figuring out how it works internally.

Don’t remember if I messaged you back but,Not that it matters but they are quiter than my Stt pro’s. I like the side wall. Not sure if I like them over the stt pro. It is a close one. Off-road they are about the same. I’ve had 2 sets of stt pro. Km3 sold me on the sidewalls. Stt pro’s are hard to beat. Cooper out done themselves. When i need new tires, I will Get Mtr Kevlars. Had them
On my landcruiser and wish I got them
    Over km3.

It's the Rotopax L-Bracket with two backing plates/mounts on either side.

    Chrome delete.
I wanted to paint the chrome matte black so I had to pop it off the panel.
I wanted to see what it would like with the piece removed. It's OK but there is a small gap.
Time to buy some spray paint.

It always hurts my feelings when I see those. I was at Lockheed when that program was being competed, and that was a 'must win' contract. Obviously, we didn't win it. Built a whole building for it and everything.

Yesterday, wife had work up in big bear, so drove her there and took the pups out on some trials. Was the first time being able to get out with the truck since buying it.
