He does lol. I’m in flagstaff with his springs and he’s in Scottsdale. No clue when he’s coming up to get them and he hasn’t been too active on here lately. But I’ll text him and tell him to check on here and see if you two can’t work something out

How bad do you think these 700s will ride on a stock weight front end lol.

What kit? What valving? And how are you driving the truck? I like the 700’s for taller ride height and that little bit of extra support on hard hits. But it definitely took some valving changes to make it soak up the smaller stuff as well.

It’s the JD 2.25 kit. Idk the valving but the last guy said it was soft on his dirt king kit, but idk what he had hanging on the front of his truck. And I go from crawling to flying in the same day.

So pretty similar use to myself lol. Honestly I’d give the 700’s a shot and see if you like them. The internal bypass will help with small chattery stuff that would typically be a little harder to tune with the higher spring rate

I tried to get AccuTune to tune them and throw some springs on them but they won’t touch since they are IBP. I only got them cause they were 3/4 of the original price and don’t want to pay for bypasses rn. But I do have the correct spring plate That fixes preload. I just need to throw them on.9C3DC637-2AEF-4319-9C59-655328818CCE.jpg

Strange that they won’t touch them. And are you 4wd? Those spring plates look fine but the rod ends are definitely for a 2wd. Either way I’d get those shocks set up correctly for the JD kit and run those springs to see how you like them.

FWIW all major brand 2nd gen lt kits I’ve seen use extended rod ends

Ok I wasn’t sure if it was just 4wd to clear the axle or not

The JD fab kit lets you use the stubbies. I was basing my shock setup on his kit. They are both standard 8” kings but he has custom fittings and a different spring plate. So I did the same. And yes it’s 4wd, I have the 934s ready to go with my kit.

His kit doesn't have a lot of the same geometry as major brand kits hence being able to use standard length rod ends.
