Looks awesome, is the power difference noticeable with the slightly smaller tires?

 

Finally got my 5100s and AAL installed along with the new wheels and tires. What a difference the wheels make.

I did not replace it when I did the lift, hopefully wont need to. I did the same lift to my 05 reg cab I had and put several thousand miles on it before selling, never had an issue with that one either.

 

Lucky! I hope you don't end up with problems. My truck was fine for like a month after I lifted. Then suddenly, vibes.

 

I had the vibes right after I lifted my 08. It'll happen eventually. My mechanic did the ECGS bushing replacement for 100 bucks and vibes went away immediately.

Anybody know if I can fit a 33BFg A/T tire no problem on my 97 its got a 3” lift thats it oh and a front tube bumper fwiw, currently rocking these 31” m/t bfg after they run out I want to get 33’s but want to know if I need to do anything else, will i rub when offroading? Thx

wheels are stock 15x7

current tires 31x10.5

want 33x10.5

 

I don't know a whole lot about first gens but I had to cut out a lot to make my 285s fit. I'd suspect the same for you. Might also rub on the UCA with a stock wheel

 

Anybody got a 1st gen? Want to see some wheel options

 

Skinny 33's rubbed slightly on my truck, once the pinch weld was folded back they only contacted the frame at full lock.

Anyone have any updated information on swapping in bucket seats? I have a lead on some low mileage 3rd gen buckets and wondering if it’s possible.

Ehhh that’s what I’m worried about. Seems that it has been done, that’s it’s not fun, and anyone who’s done it hasn’t documented it too well or just lived with airbag lights.

 

I put 3rd gen seats in my truck, they are a straight bolt in deal, as the rails are the same from 2nd to 3rd gen. The electronics are close, but I had to take out some of the electricals from my stock buckets so the seat harness on the 3rd gen seat would plug right into my truck.

The only other thing I would recommend is if you are taller, and have the seat almost all the way back, I would look for 2nd gen bucket seats. Since the 3rd gen seats are much thicker, and I had to do a lot of hacking so I could get the seat back far enough and not hit the back of the cab, while also being comfortable enough to drive.

One thing I also didn't have to worry about was seat airbags, since my truck didn't have them stock, so I didn't have to bother with any of the wiring, but is something you would have to worry about, since you have a 2013.
