That’s because every 16 year old overlander and their daddy is here Because they just bought a tacoma because they seen all the #overlander post on IG have a tacoma so they wanna know how many RTTs and cancans they can fit on a bed rack with stock suspension and the biggest tires

Its pretty simple. TW separates itself from other forums cause the mods dont put up with that "use the search bar" shit. It makes it more off putting to new comers.

What I like (and that's all that's important to ME) is to be able to find answers based on accumulated forum wisdom.

NOT what the few people who happen to see a current thread happen to think or know.

SO yeah, I guess there are different ways to handle to a knowledge base. One is proven to work, and the other nets everyone a sky-high message count.

Pretty sure thats the whole point of a forum haha.

If someone has a helpful thread, they leave a link to it. Otherwise 99.9% of the tech threads here are regurgitated questions with repeated answers.

And the actual smart people almost never reply to those threads.
