I'm gonna have to install mine too. I can't find anyone that wants to install it. I'd rather just pay someone but I can do it.

 

It's surprisingly easy.
I haven't wrenched in years.
I watched plenty of how to videos.

 

I noticed quite a few guys are getting extended brake lines to go with this kit. Is it really neccessary for 2" lift?

 

I think it only comes into play if you get long travel shocks

Right. Maybe for the rear to go with solid axle that droops more than the front IFS

 

What notch is that? Anything on the back?

 

That is middle notch. Have icon springs waiting to go on the back, so it's stock right now

 

Hello Eibach crew! I purchased the stage 1 kit from headstrong and hope to be installing it in the next couple weeks. I know there are a lot of questions in this thread about how much lift people are getting on which settings, so I will post before and after measurements and give you a rundown of my kit so you know how much weight I’m working with and what results I got. When I bought my 2016 OR short bed used from a dealer a year and a half ago, it already had a leveling kit on it in the form of revtec spacers. I’ve been happy with my set up except that I’ve developed a saggy rear over time. I’ve been on scales three times over the last several months and have been over GVWR each time. The last time I had only recovery gear, camp chairs, and a small cooler in the bed, so it was time to upgrade. Weight comes from the following:
Victory blitz bumper—65#
Ironman 9500#winch w/synthetic line—60#
RCI sliders~100#
CBI bed bars~50#
Voodoo bed rails.~30#
About 50# recovery gear
2 car seats with kiddos—150#
& copilot in back seat (until little one can hold her own bottle)—unknown#!
It adds up quick!
I decided not to mess around and purchased ome Dakar medium pack also (which made it here first!).

I have bumper and winch up front with 33 in tires and measure 38 1/4 drivers front on second notch for comparison.

 

I have am appointment tomorrow to lower the struts to the 2nd perch and will measure then. One thing that I noticed is that the 2wd 4 door has a curb weight of 4180 lbs while the TRD 4X4 has a curb weight of 4480 lbs. Both though have a hight of 70.6 in. I'm wondering if the 245 missing pounds of the front dif might make some difference. I weigh 188 lbs and stood on the front steel bumper and it dropped to 37' 1/4 from 38 so i'll see what happens tomorrow when they get put on the first perch. I'm also calling Eibach this morning to see what they say.

 

If you are installing the JBA UCA as well I found that if you use the strut bottom 19mm bolt it can help you in aligning the fat and skinny washer. Also, I found it helpful to remove the front grill and you can use a long screwdriver or pry bar to help you push the long bolt through on both sides.

Set the SPC at option D and the truck tracks really well and the steering feels a tad stiff.

 

Anyone on the top perch how is the ride compated to stock?

Good evening everyone! I said I would post my truck after the lift is installed. It took a little longer than planned, but here she is. Sitting on the top notch. Dirt King UCA’s, OME light duty leafs. I had a feeling this leaf pack would give me a little rake and I was right. Not sure how I feel about the slight rake but one things for sure, I don’t hate it. Actually quite happy with how it turned out. Any pros/cons of slight rake with a lift? Also, ignore the Instagram tags

 

Slight rake is good. Bro lean is for Chevy's

Also not sure if I've ever seen an SR5 in Tali... erm, Quicksand.

 

I am thinking about adding this suspension on my truck - So do we need spacers? my goal is just to lift the front so its even with the rears. Can i get some suggestions of what i would all need? I was wanting to do this install by myself with the springs being preassembled. i was going through this page and i see people add spacers 1/4? My goal isn't to get the max out of the springs- again just enough to level out the truck. i am on sema trd pro wheels on a 2016 offroad.
