In the country this weekend, a bedroom closet is full of old games.

Just played Trouble with my family- the game is relatively new, but saw this and was reminded of the time before barcodes...

I remember that bag phone at my job, it was like everyone wanted to call their wife or girl on it and tell them you were calling from a phone that wasn't attached to a wire outlet, like magic

I never had a problem playing these in the radio. Somewhere is a repair kit for them too.

Toy stores. How about catalogs. I remember spending hours with the Sears Christmas Catalog. Dreaming of all the marvelous toys. But unlike kids today knowing that Santa only had room in his sleigh for one. Funny how he just never got it wrong.

That's what the "I" key was used for.

I grew up in Daytona beach and had the Main street pier and Boardwalk. 6 arcades on the beachfront with a cable car ride going out over the pier and a sky needle ride going straight up. This was before the rollercoater and new ferris wheel was installed there, but I remember them being installed as a kid.

The pier used to be longer but after a few hurricanes and storms some length of the pier has been rebuilt, fell into the ocean, rebuilt again, fell into the ocean again. Eh Florida details. Riding on the cable cars while the base (pier) is moving underneath you with the waves always felt interesting haha.

Cable car and Space needle not there anymore. :(
Before: not sure of the year.
