It might be because the build site shows your local inventory and it’s not currently available near you

It's your truck, and you get whatever drive-train you want. This whole manual thing is way overblown. I've had tons of stick shifts, and I've had a lot of automatics. There's been many times in a manual I've wished I had an automatic, but never once have I been offroad in an automatic and wished I had a manual trans. Torque converter and just two pedals to keep track of all day every day when rock crawling.

Have to disagree with you there. The MT in this truck is awesome.

That's fine, and I don't disagree with you in theory. It's just that 99% of us are daily driving our trucks and wheeling on the weekends. If you wanna throw a TC doubler and some steep gears in your truck to make it a dedicated crawler, that's fine.

But I've been in my old jeeps with the ass end hanging off a ledge in the snow and a winch cable on a tree up front. When it gets to that point, I'd much rather worry about two pedals than three. And I've been ass end off a few ledges and nutted up against quite a few large rocks off camber with a stick shift. Just easier to do with an automatic.

Gimme a clutch in a fun to drive sports car all day long. When I'm off road or daily driving, I'll take the automatic every time.
