I was wondering about these numbers. If you multiply the engine torque by the first gear ratio (AT 3.6) and by the rear end ratio (3.909) you get approximately the same numbers in the table below. Sort of the first gear 'axle torque'.

The "Optimal Engine Torque" at max load looks suspiciously like the torque curve of the engine, though it is a bit higher than it should be above 4600+ rpm. Seems like this full throttle table should match the max load at each rpm. The max is 4928 Nm @ 5200 rpm... not far off the 5000 Nm some are putting.

Below are the stock alternator setting for 04A61. I think someone said the tables or values are different for different ecu's. Can anyone confirm this? If different does anyone have the values for agm charging for 04A61?

So long story short, this method of adding gearlock is effective, but not as pretty as Mat's method?

Because his method still allows you to retain the ECT function, no? It's only in S-mode where you're using gearlock after all.

@Mooseditty17 , downloaded 5 of your tune files, liked the sounds of your Perf+2.5 file, it's the same way I compare that powerband, LOL. Do your later tunes still try to reduce that or should I just load the Perf+2.5? Thanks and how did Bambi's sister show up?

Well hot damn... We got ourselves a problem solver! That's a beautiful thing you've done there. Not just figured out what to adjust... BUT WHY. That's seriously awesome! Even if by some slim chance it's not right... It makes sense, so I'm going with it.

Do you think they limited the power in first as an additional traction safety device? Intentionally numbing the engine so it can spin the tires as easily....

Check the high rpm AICS values to be certain, but I believe all tunes after that one have the 3650 value brought down to 3400. That's what made the 4 stroke power and available :D

There are a couple after the Perf+2.5. I just posted two the other day. One is a premium file. To be honest though, they aren't a whole lot different. Certainly not as much of an improvement will be noticed as going from OV's 2.0 to my Perf+2.5. I will be adding his first gear throttle mod to the last two I posted. If that's all it's cracked up to be that will be a major improvement off the line.

So what are your thoughts as far as making adjustments to release 1st gears potential. Adjust that table to 4928 or 5000 and what else?

Nice build on the pew pew, looks like it did a nice job for you. I have a few coyotes around here, with the logging they've done, I don't feel safe with mine so I bought a .17HMR I'll sight in & use on them. Thanks for all the work you put into the tunes, don't feel confident enough yet to try myself, sometimes I create more problems than I fix. LOL

I think the reason for that is there is a dump tube tune for the MT, but not the AT. My buddy with an AT threw a code and once we set those it went away and hasn’t come back. The MT I know running it hasn’t had a light either.

It is. I took that longer drive yesterday (to the 71st annual Motorcycle Hill Climbs) 40 miles away and the power was there. Rocket from a stop and all. All I did was make the one table linear, and raised the values of the other to 5000. Tomorrow I'll be driving to and from work without any women in the car so I can get a bit more crazy with it and test it a little harder.

Throttle request to Airload you highlighted and Control I or you used @ForceOfG's table? and raise the 4000 to 5000?

    Yep
Acceleration Throttle Request To Airload – yes CTRL I/made linear.
Torque Calculated Base to Full Throttle – all to 5000 from 4000

I have ForceOfG's settings screenshotted for later but I haven't tried/entered them yet.

    Awesome.
What I don't understand: Matt said just to raise those values until full Throttle is achieved.... Why are we having to adjust the airload table as well?

Your logic makes sense, but I was thinking that the 4000 actually means 400.0 nM where the decimal is implied. I'm thinking some of the values in the ECU are integers so there are no decimal places just whole numbers.

And Engine torque map for 04B90 MT makes no sense to me. I cant seem to hit that 14000 RPM....
