I had spidertrax on my sequoia, sold them when I was towing a trailer that was at max capacity. They are an extra thing that can fail, not saying they will fail.

Unless the wheels you like don’t come but with 1 backspacing option. I could only get mine in 4.5” but really wanted 3.5”...spacers it was.

You could have downgraded to the v6 brakes and cleared 16” wheels

I have spidertrax now with the sequoia wheels. No complaints so far.

I'd rather not downgrade my brakes. That heavy pig needs all the help it can get! Lol

You also could have upgraded to GX460 brakes as a straight bolt on affair. That’s what I’m doing when it’s time for brakes again.

Zero issue with the spacers- been now on 4 different cross country/ wheeling trips.

Spidertrax spacers are 1.25” inch- damn close to the POSITIVE 32mm back space (pushing wheel inward toward the truck) on the TRD OR wheels.

the Spidertrax spacer effectively creates a more “centerline” mounting for the TRD OR wheel- by offsetting the positive 32mm backspace.

First time with a salary job, always told myself I would never have a salary job. It’s everything I thought it would be, company wants you to work late to get the job done but doesn’t compensate you for that time. Needless to say I absolutely hate being salary. How do people do it? The idea of working over 40 hours and not getting paid for it is killing me.

manage your time better so you don't work more than 40hrs...I've been salary for the last 10 years, and haven't really ever had any issues...if I do work late, I get compensated for it later on with promotions and/or bonuses...so it's always been worth my time in the long run.

Current job isn't super busy, and we all make it a point to leave at 5, and usually 330-4 on Friday's.

I agree with this, however I can see both sides. I prefer to have stability week to week with my pay. Many hourly guys make more than me some weeks due to available OT, I am ok with this. Some weeks are crazy for me and I put in 60 hours, some weeks are 40-45.

    totally.

Krystal is a nurse, and she is hourly, but she gets guaranteed pay of 36hrs per week no matter if she actually works that much or not...anything above 40hrs is 1.5x OT...she ends up working 60+hrs a week.

Meanwhile, I make it a point to work the bare minimum

Find a better career. I'm salary and I might work about 4 hours a day, until those times when I have to write some new code. Those times I'll stay up til 1-2a working(my choice) for a day or two and then it's back to maybe 4 hours a day.

I like salary because its definitely more stable than hourly but you have to commit to time management. If what you do doesn't effect the ability for someone else in your business from doing their job, then push it to tomorrow. Rarely ever would I volunteer to stay late beyond 15 minutes if it can be done the next day. Now with that said, I realize that there are deadlines and obligations to meet which brings us back to point #1: time management. Employers typically don't care about you whether or not you stay beyond the 40 hr work week so unless you're getting overtime, after 5pm, I'd be working my way to the door (if you're a 9-5er). When I say employers, I am talking specifically about managers and/or leadership. I try to separate work from home, meaning leave work at work because you can get to it tomorrow. With all that said, working AD USAF this is a bit different than your typical salary job.

Yup, this. Clock in, work, clock out. Try to not burn yourself out jostling for promotions for a job that just pays the bills. If you really love your job then you can go above and beyond but just keep in mind that your employer wants you to stay and work but wont willingly compensate you for your overtime unless you make a big stink about it.

My last job I was salary non-exempt, so I could still get OT after 40 hours, and that was nice but this job is salary exempt, so no OT. My boss gives us comp time if we get over 40 hours, though. This past weekend was a patch weekend for me, so I put in about six hours of OT. I'll take off early Friday to make up for it.
