    OMG LOL. So true.

I think they made a deal with Fiji Water. This is the only thing I can drink in the truck now. Clean living for me, with my $6/liter water.

Was Fiji water even around in the 90s? lol. It may have been, I don't remember it though.

I'm guessing they thought they were making the cupholders "multi functional" by making them square, but in reality they were just making them worse for the one thing people use them for the most....holding round cups

Center console and invasive taper next to throttle pedal. Also lack of covering the passenger foot well. Also lack of adequate hood latch cable mounts inside the cab (my shin brushes it sometimes)... pretty much everything to do with not kicking things while sitting inside

Factory suspension is just brutal. Order a cheap spacer lift and you might as well add a kidney belt to your order.

Still spend tome scratching my head and thumbing through threads on the “best 0-3” suspension” discussions. Had Kings, toytecs, and bilstein. Spent lots of tome off road on washboards. Still don’t know if I’ve had the best or not.

My key vibrates in the ignition while driving at highway speeds. Gives a real nice metallic vibration sound. I've only noticed it the last year or so and it is starting to irritate me. Anyone else have this going on?

To be honest I don’t understand what some of you mean by square cup holders. My cup holders are perfectly round to me unless I don’t know my shapes, maybe I need to go back to kindergarten

You can pull apart the assembly and blow o it all the dirt and grime in the mechanism. That can help if the springs them selves aren’t bust

I don’t like how they have a common leak from the passenger area. Water gets in from the dashboard area and onto the carpet.

also lower ball joint design, dash rattle (can be kind of fixed) fuel filter location on a 2002, and upstream O2 sensor location

You're one of the lucky ones... older 1st gen tacomas have cup holders that are squarephoto-15_9073c0c0505a7f384d691d76b3fed810c801a298.jpg

I don’t like that I can’t see my OEM clock when driving or the door lock pin that sticks out too far and bothers my left when I rest it on the top of the door when driving, other than that I enjoy my 1st Gen!!

Only one other key and a key fob. The vibration and noise is from the truck key itself in the ignition. The center "tumbler" is what is vibrating. So when on the highway I can hold the other key and key fob and the truck key in the tumbler is vibrating causing the noise. The only solution I've come up with thus far to stop the noise is to add a decent amount of weight the the key ring which I'm not down with when I have them in my pocket.
