Yikes!!! 4 months! They must have lost it and found it again. Even if someone swam it across the pacific ocean from Hawaii and walked to your house to hand deliver it, it would have got to you faster!

 

Luckily the seller has great customer service so I’ve had a light blue one on for a few months. Was so surprised/excited when this showed up.

 

Yeah, @TiredHands ordered this from the first batch and we both thought it was a lost cause with USPS. So glad it made it him. next batch had a design shift so the pattern orientation changed with it.

For those asking, I am more than likely not going to be obtaining more material for designs out of stock since I’m shifting my time to 3D printing. I’m hoping to offer this community with some of my own custom parts in the future!

Got mine today. Works great.

The only thing I would change is the Meso holder has a lip that snaps in opposite the screw so it holds the other side, from videos I have seen of the other brand.

I love the KOO half circle holder better than the full circle but it would be nice to have that lip opposite the screw side to hold it so you don’t accidentally break the screw tab off. Be easy to do if you catch it with the gas cap and it bends out.

I appreciate the review! I haven't been able to incorporate a lip onto the cradle, but moving forward in my plans, I hope to get an equivalent cradle 3D printed for production in the future.

.....oh yeah, I messed up the screw while removing it. I’m going to replace this one with a stainless socket head cap screw. If you boot it like I did, the size you’ll need is a
M6-1.00 x 10. That should do it

Looks Great and shipped quick! And I must have been one of the lucky ones because my screw removed with out issue.

 

Mahalo Jim & Taco friends! Shipping was really quick (less than a week from Honolulu to Birmingham) Appreciate any advice on removing a stuck screw for installation. I've tried soaking it w/ WD40 & CLP overnight, don't know which "Eezox" type thing to try next. FWIW I am running a 2017 and am 2nd owner, so the screw is in Darn Tight.

Maybe try an electric impact driver and push your other hand against the outside of the fuel door to keep the phillips tight in the screw.
