Yeah. I put it down for awhile because I had other stuff going on. But after they tried to pin this on me to find out other had these same issues as recently as August (I got my stuff late June), and then to be told that they knew about my issue and just didn't care kinda sucks.

I mean as an adult what can you do when you get scammed? No sense in dwelling. That won't get me skids I can use or my money back.

    Happy Monday everyone

    Morning, people of the internet.
Turns out I broke my finger Thursday night. I knew I'd dislocated it at the 3rd knuckle because I popped it back in after I crunched it. But since it popped right back in and I had full range of motion without a lot of discomfort I just kept working. But it kept getting more black and blue and was still swollen Saturday night, so yesterday AM I went to the urgent care center and had them x-ray it. Turns out it's a hairline fracture, no chipping, and it has already started to knit. So they didn't splint or tape it, and I don't have any restrictions other than to 'take it easy this week' (whatever that means).
    Already looking better, though.

I’ve been considering a new skid plate and I like the white with red TRD lettering. But if they come with black and red lettering I think that would look cool. I was wondering if I can find them in OME. Thoughts?

No video games won't be a problem :notsure:

Drinking beer with it counts as icing, though, right?

Blech. I've been on an Octoberfest kick lately. I'll sub that in there instead.

First actual broken bone ever, other than a couple of skull fractures and most of my toes. 36 year streak is over. :pout:

I haven't seen any of their products around here. If I'm in the right mood I like Shipyard's Pumpkinhead with a shot of Captain or vanilla vodka in it, and their Smashed Pumpkin is quite good all on it's own, as well.

hmmmm you could mask it off and hit it with bed liner.

I like the look but all my stuff is going to be black. I’ve seen a few posts of people stealing the trd skids. Plain black bed lined looks inconspicuous and isn’t a theft target.

I have tomatoes left that I’ve neglected a little and are cracking a little on top due to inconsistent watering lately. But still very good . Celebrity, Bonnie original , and yellow gold ( large) .

My Brandywines are doing that as well, because I'm basically tomato'd out at this point. I've been eating fresh since the middle of July, plus I've done something like 40 pints of sauce, 6 quarts of juice/tomato soup base, and I've still got probably 10lbs in bags in the freezer to process later, once I get some jars freed up. What I'm doing right now is just letting whatever grows grow, picking them and freezing them as they come ripe. Another week or so and we'll probably have a killing frost, so when that happens I'll just pick everything left on the vine and strip the bed out.

I pulled number 6 last night, been cutting for about 2 weeks, had to make it through 2 frosts, the first was a maybe had/maybe not. The second one, the plants clearly had frost on them at 7:30 am. Ran out of jars (good problem to have), but took 4 days to find some jars in a store

Jars are hard to get I have a bunch from other years but ordered some online a few weeks ago in prep.

not excited for trimming, which is why I sent an entire plant to be squished into hash. This other one is too good to do that too tho.
