Rare to see any LC for sale around here. This 60 just came up on CL. No idea about how these perform off-road.

It's got a loose connection on the top of the tank and seeps when I am pushing it hard. After paint I found all my rub spots too. Nothing too bad, but I'll have to bump stop that front soon. I think I'm just going to run the daystar air bumps from summit.

Cool.. I see a few of them in the OR clubs up in that area where that is for sale. My neighbor bud bought a 91 model 80 series. It has a 3F-E engine. It developed some bad wrist pin knocking not long after he bought it. He's having a hard time trying to find pistons and parts to fix it. He's still looking for parts.

That 1991 is STEEP, pre 93 80s are rough. Underpowdered, hydro trans, no full floaters, no lockers, drum brake rear... the list goes on

Thanks for the tag! Just seeing this pictures gives me PTSD all over again. What an ungodly amount of work that was. The front 3-link was easy in comparison since I used the 4WU kit. The rear suspension was a total PIA since it was all custom from the truss to the upper and lower coilover mounting. I even made a removable crossmember for the lower links. This is essentially a double triangulated 3/4-link since I'm running a wishbone upper. I went with a short wishbone upper due to not wanting to move the gas tank and the 14" coilovers were mounted that way to avoid having to cut into the cab. Since this truck is driven to and from the trails, my main goal was improving road manners (not more flex) since the rear suspension on these trucks is so messed up once you go 4"+. But the ill effects are masked by the front radius arm suspension. Once you link the front, it becomes apparent how bad the rear geometry is.

If I were ever to do it again, I'd start with a mini truck on tons

Yes. That’s exactly it. I just didn’t know what the hell this on is because the one in the truck just says hidden hitch. No model or anything (stickers gone) they don’t make any hitched anymore, but someone that came into the dealer had the same hitch and I finally saw it’s a class 3

So either factory Toyota or a draw tite is going on the truck. Only 2 that are class 4 rated

My. Neighbor has a mint one. He bought it new. Sitting at like 40k miles right now. He only uses it for camping once a year or so. It only leaves the garage once in a blue moon even I rarely see it
