What year is the LA or is the serial tag missing off the back axle like most of them are?

Well... I have to look the next time I get down to joes place.... I wanna say 1946? Where about would the tag be located? Our grand pop repainted and rebuilt the engine before he had passed. Somewhere around 1996. He had passed 99

Blew out a 48 year old tire on my IH#4 dump cart with a load of dirt in it. Changed them both out with some new take-off turfs I had here. Brushed the rims and sprayed rustoleum rust reformer on them.

New bead breaking technique will be the only way I do it moving forward. I hate, hate, hate mounting 8s.

Always a bear popping the beads!! I knocked off 2 rotted valve stems on brother joes kubota rear wheels and have it 5 minutes before I said.... no thanks and ran them to my work to use the tire machine which made quick valve stem replacements!!

Yeah the beads are a booger. I hope this works that well for everything I try it on going forward. Just drive up and pop. I could make it better angling the bottom of the channel forward and curve the top so it would clear the rim. As it was it was farther from the rim due to it wanting to come down on top of the rim.

Sometimes it works out and well... you know. Also when the tire folds and won’t pop the bead.... makes for some interesting time! Haha debating wether to grab another beverage or not. Got 2 furry ones on my lap snoring .... actually keeping me warm.

I know. Some beads are more stubborn than my wife. Tried some Tacoma 16s the other day. Drove all the way around them and they just laughed. I'll try this and see what they say.

Did some tractoring this weekend. Loaded up a trailer full of manure from the 30+/- yards I scored from a horse farm for my parent's garden and delivered it.

Visited with them a bit and then got home a little before dark and finished stacking my Oak haul. Got to use the work lights, because by the time I finished up it was hard dark. So I snapped some more photos the next morning, by daylight.

I even had to start a second pile, because even with some creativity I had the normal pile stacked as high as the New Holland would go.

I should have bought the dump trailer a LONG time ago. I got it in June and I've used it at least once a week, every week, since then. Lately I've been using it almost constantly; I'm hauling so frequently that my average mileage is down around 10mpg's

It actually hauls pretty good for a gasser, but a Cummins/Aisin is the dream. Gotta buy a lot of fuel to make up for that diesel premium, though. And then I'd run into axle loading issues when I had the plow on it, between the 1000lb plow and the 1000lb motor.

Yes it’s a beast of a set up. I wouldn’t mind having a Cummins BUT the funds aren’t there. Boy is it ever so damp and cold out there today. Shows 50 and that’s not cold! Old age probably a factor ;-)
