I don't feel so bad now letting the techs at my local dealership change my oil after seeing the oil under your truck. Use to piss me off after I got home I would crawl under my truck with a flashlight and see oil splashed all around the underside of my truck. I won't give it a 2nd thought from now on after seeing your truck.:thumbsup:

My truck is a asphalt queen. It spends 90% of the time sitting in this parking space. Another thing that pains me is all the dust that accumulates on the engine when it never gets on a gravel or dirt road.

@CusterFan the oil splashing came from two places.
1 - my drain pan/container, when I drained the oil pan the oil hit the top and splashed everywhere. Big mess.

2 - putting the drain on the filter housing is a messy PITA as it starts draining immediately, without necessarily actually clipping all the way in to the drain valve.

a better drain pan would help a lot of the splashing, not sure what I could do about the filter part. At least with the oil marks you know the work was done!

Picked up my SR about three weeks ago. Only pic I have is on the showroom floor. I have added fog lights, amp/sub, and tint, that’s about it.

The TSS package is a distributor package added to SR's for the South Eastern United States. So it's not quite a dealer package, but it's not a factory package either. Usually includes wheels, tires, running boards but not sure what else.

So I scored a take-off Receiver bumper from a local member. Holy guac what a PITA it is to take these bumpers apart. End result though is that I have a hitch receiver now with an OEM piece. Missing the L brackets to give it the full supoort however, but I don't currently have plans to tow anything, just getting ready for a bike rack or a Westcott Swing arm add on down the road and I couldn't pass up on $25.

Snaeper is correct, it’s a Gulf states region pkg consisting of black 17” wheels, 265/65 Nitto’s, side steps, blacked out exhaust tip, all weather floor liners, blacked out tailgate letters, etc...

I read somewhere that SX package stood for "Southern Expedition". I have no idea if that's true, anyone know?

That would be the first I've heard of it and I poured over every detail of the announcement of the package. I strongly doubt it, though.

They are distributor package wheels for trucks in the gulf states. Part of the TSS Off Road package.

Not OEM, but not " Dealer Special" either.
