hmmm. I did question why the throttle maps listed values below 14 if the truck didnt go that low. but im not sure what is correct. If the truck doesnt have an IACV in it, it has to use the throttle plate to regulate throttle or the truck would die at 0%.

unless the TB has a bypass built into it, never looked for one myself.

Ive just been treating 14 as idle and 82 as full send.

Anybody else raise their airload tables instead of just smoothing them?

@Rafael@OVTune can we have a thread added specific to tuning the alternator for AGM batteries?

Here are the numbers from the 04B14 2.0 Premium OL tune. They are slightly different.

I did Control one slightly to move the top of the curve to higher RPMs.

ok... i'm trying to play catch up here. running my latest tune, all you did was raise these values from 4k to 5k and you got full throttle in first gear. DA POWER has been unleashed? Or did you have to mod anything else? DAMNIT this is killing me. I can't even go run it.

Who's got a tune for an 18 Rav 4? That's what I got for a loaner. So depressing...

Test Mods Tables adjusted.jpg I also feel these tables listed should be smoothed and or at least increased in the upper left low spots like I did here. Just doesn't seem right having that huge drop off there. I have not tried this! but I have the tune available if someone wants to be a guinea pig. It's the same tune as the last one I made, but has these tables increased and smoothed at the upper left value sections. If nobody bites, I GET IT. :D

Anybody have their own ideas on these tables? Thoughts, input, reasons they should look like they do? All I can do is fiddle... Didn't even get to try the first gear stuff yet
    :annoyed:

    Correct!
Mooseditty17 I adjusted the throttle too so it is more consistent with what I like. As seen in the quote

edit# I am still playing with the air load and request tables, going to see what it does to my afr, that might be why they are so all over is so the afr stays within parameters

I guess what I'm getting at, is were the throttle request table adjustments NECESSARY to unleash first gear's potential, or did it work with the values I had?

I raised all 4 of mine 10% to see if it makes a difference. Not sure how much they can be raised. But 10% seems to make a difference.
